I absolutely love Saltworks fragrances. There are so many to choose from, and you can opt to layer too.
One review mentioned that they are not like the top brands and complex. I totally disagree! These fragrances have so many notes to them, they change throughout the day I feel too. For me, perfume is supposed to make you feel a certain way, its supposed to lift you, to enhance how you feel and these certainly do! So well done saltworks! I tend to buy the discovery sets as I love being able to change my scent alot, but in those you get a fabulous £25 voucher off a full size bottle..which i will use...within the year once ive found my total fave! I have many!
Just ordered the Fresh scent discovery set. Loved the limited edition set too. This will be my third discovery set for women and I have also bought the men's for my partner. He said he isnt one to use scent on a regular basis but he too enjoys wearing these! So thats a winner. Never an issue with ordering, great customer service.

I gave Saltworks a go because I was searching for a summer scent. As someone who loves the heavy/woody/spicy scents I've always struggled to find a daytime summer scent that didn't just smell like sugar water. So i ordered the discovery set and fell in love with l'orgengrie, love story, surfari, and rose harmony. After wearing a different perfume every day to get a sense of how long they lasted and how they smelt after long wear I decided on l'orangrie. I ordered a full size bottle with my discount from the discovery set, got it within 2 days and got a free travel bottle of the same scent thrown in too which was a lovely surprise. Packaging is beautiful and the little booklet to rate the scents in the discovery set is a lovely touch. All the girls at work were having a look and having a smell of the samples. Definitely getting the romance discovery set next time to find a new winter scent and look forward to getting my bottle refilled to avoid waste. This brand ticks all my boxes

I saw this company advertised on Facebook last year, so I visited their website independently not clicking on the ad on Facebook because we all know there are some odd things on FB.
I signed up for their emails and I received a free sample of South Peach. With a money off e-voucher I purchased a full size bottle. I wear it frequently and always get positive comments about the fragrance. It lasts well. I have bought other scents in their range and I have been equally happy with my purchases.

I had the discovery box. Scents are nice & long lasting. I enjoyed wearing most of them. I thought the box was a good deal as it contained a £25 voucher to buy the perfume you liked most. Unfortunately you have to buy a perfume that costs £75. So another £50 spend. These are all too expensive from my POV

I bought a discovery set for £29. Beautifully packaged box of 10 (2ml) bottles of perfume to sample, with a booklet describing each scent and space to rate each one, There is also a £25 gift voucher to redeem against any full size bottle or 3 handbag size bottles of perfume that you may decide upon. Customer service excellent, very responsive and personalised. The scent lasts all day. There is literally nothing bad to say about this fabulous gift to myself, I absolutely love it.

Beautiful long lasting perfumes......however, what makes this company is the customer service. I had an issue which ended up being my fault. They could not have been more helpful, speedy responses and thorough investigation and a positive outcome. Thank you Saltworks

I bought the men's discovery set as I was after new lighter or gender neutral fragrances after enjoying some from M&S. I guess you could call them gender neutral - none of them smell like something anybody would want to wear, whatever their gender. Still, their USP was that they smell better once on your skin...

Unfortunately, not only was that not the case, but the two t shirts I wore when I tried the scents are now completely ruined. I've washed them four times with a soak in between and I cannot get the awful residual perfumy smell out of the collars. So, add that cost to the totally overpriced testers and it's been a massive fail.

I'm glad others are posting here to give their bad experiences, as social media is absolutely rammed with positive comments. Clearly I should have come here first instead of falling victim to heavy online reviews, which are obviously aggressively paid for. Call me gullible.

It's not all negative - I've given one extra star for the nice box they arrived in.

Great concept. Lovely packaging. Great fun to try a new smell every day. I really wanted to love at least one of the fragrances but, having tried them all , I am disappointed that none "hit the spot". They are all similar and really not long lasting. I would recommend Oud Attar samples as an alternative - same price and much better product (in my opinion).

I bought the discovery set and just used the voucher to buy a few travel sized bottles. I agree with the comments about being too expensive. I disagree with the comments about lasting power because it’s the forever chemicals which disrupt our hormones that facilitate the lasting fragrance, fragrance being one of the most toxic things we have around the home. This company confirmed that no hormone altering chemicals are used, that’s maybe why they don’t last and that doesn’t bother me. When placing an order it takes some while before it’s sent out, many companies ship the same day. Again, it’s the price and the slow service when ordering that is compelling me to rate this review as 3 stars.

Disappointed. I wanted to love these and find one that stood out. Worked my way through the sample box but no stand out scent. All quite samey. And was most disappointed to find they just don’t last on your skin for any length of time. In fact all I was left with after a short time was a dry chemical smell. Won’t be using my £25 voucher which is a fab idea. Oh and also really haven’t appreciated being bombarded with emails even before the sample box had arrived. Didn’t live up to the hype for me.

For me it was a waste of money, unfortunately. I ordered the sample set as the scent descriptions sounded so good. The packaging was nice and of good quality but the perfumes didn't live up to their promise. They seemed very 'samey' and none of them stood out for me, I found it all a bit disappointing to be honest, including the voucher that I wont be using.

This is not a scent to put on skin works better on clothing like fabric conditioner . At £90 a bottle it’s an expensive option .

Fragrances, from the tester set, in the main are really nice and unique, but you need to use quite a lot and yhe fragrance doesn't last more than a couple of hours. For the expensive price of these perfumes, with so many others in thd market, I would need them to last longer.

Awful company, placed an order previously which I received just placed another order they have taken the money but no order received I have contacted them via the phone and got told they don't have a customer service phone no and to contact them via their website, gone onto website to be told no one available. Would not recommend this company

I bought the discovery set fully prepared to be disappointed. Now to fill you in I only purchase high end perfume. I am very impressed. As I write this I can still smell one of the bottles I tried yesterday on me after a 12hr shift, I have had this on for at least 14hrs by now!!!
Blows my mind as some of my very expensives ranges don't hold out for anywhere near that. The discovery box is perfect as they all smell amazing and it will help me decide on full size bottle.

I recently ordered the Saltworks Discovery Set and I have mixed feelings. On the positive side, the fragrances themselves are lovely. I’ve tried four so far and liked every single one of them, which is rare for a discovery set. They are unique, well-blended, and I actually found that they layer together beautifully, allowing for a custom scent profile.
However, there are two main drawbacks for me: longevity and price.

Performance: While the smells are great, they aren’t quite as strong or as high-end designer or niche perfumes.

The Cost Gap: Because I love layering them, I’d ideally want a few different scents. However, I can only afford one full-sized bottle, and the travel-sized vials feel significantly overpriced for the amount of juice you actually get.

The Verdict: If you find one "holy grail" scent you love, the big bottle might be worth it with the £25 discount voucher included in the set. But if you're like me and enjoy variety or layering, the high cost of the smaller sizes makes it a difficult hobby to maintain on a budget.

Had been looking for something different in the perfume department and fell for the saltworks ads on instagram. Beautifully packaged just a shame the perfume wasn’t as good. I’m not sure which discovery pack I ordered, but contained Lady Marmalade and Brown Sugar that everyone raves about. Honestly so disappointed. I gave my husband 3 of the sprays. 100% aftershave to both myself and my husband. Few of the others had too much rose. Reminded me of my grandmother who would have been 91 this year had she still been alive. Just awful aromas that didn’t particularly last very long. Lady marmalade was my favourite but must admit, it was just choosing the best of a bad bunch. It lasted about 4 hours. Unfortunately I’m still searching for that elusive signature perfume.

Really great service and helped me find my perfect scent by trying sample boxes of 10 with comprehensive guides. Really fun and then get £25 off a full bottle or 3 travel sized.

My sample box arrived today and I am already absolutely delighted with the range and longevity of the scents. I had a slight issue which was resolved immediately by Joanna. Would highly recommend and I will be using the voucher to buy a full size bottle

Was very excited to receive my order of the discovery set, including two extra free samples (honeyberry and kamitonka) after seeing the ads on social media. I quickly realised within a few days there was nothing to be excited about and wish I had checked Trust Pilot reviews prior to ordering. Absolutely no staying power with most smells disappearing within an hour which to be fair is no bad thing with most of the samples as they do not smell any where near as nice as how they are marketed. I will not be wasting anymore money with this company.
