AVOID at all costs

Was a customer for many years, until I recently had to update my phone number due to moving countries. I was surprised to have a pop-up in the app that asked me to 'submit evidence' as for why I was changing my number. Apparently, this is a new law. I replied that the reason was that I moved and my old number is no longer valid and submitted the pop-up. Shortly after, I received an email saying it is unfortunately not enough. I contacted customer support and explained that this was my work number, and that I do not have a contract with this number and my name on it. I was then told to submit a brief letter with stamp and signature from HR stating that my employer had provided me with this number. I obtained this as requested and submitted it. It was declined. I tried contacting customer service, yet the phone option in the app was NEVER available across countless occassions. I thus used the chat funciton. Acorss ONE HOUR, somebody requested I submit the same letter, again. I did. Lo and behold - I receive an email and the pop-up in the app again: the evidence I submitted was not accepted. Without ANY explanation as to why, or what else I could possibly do. In the meantime, I had submitted a complaint to them to which I just received an answer: they had not read my complaint AT ALL, instead only stated that I... yes. That I should submit a simple letter with stamp and signature from HR stating that this was indeed the number my employer had given me. I submitted it again - as per their request - to find an email stating that they cancelled my account. I. Am. Furious. I actually have real problems to solve in my life and this bank and their employees completely taking the piss is disgusting. Oh, what's more: I had been PAYING for my account all these years, only to find out that on their website, they promote a free account - for which I would have been eligible this entire time - if you have 500€ or more coming in every month. Why are existing customers forced into a paid option, and new customers are coerced by this offer? Highly recommend: STAY AWAY. Until recently I had been recommending Tomorrow, but jesus christ, their customer service is non-existent and catastrophic. Hope they go bankrupt so they stop cheating people out of their money, and worse: their TIME!

Reliable responsible banking

Reliable, responsible and nice interface. 4 out of 5 stars only because there was trouble with sending me a new card once. Love the app, the design, funding options for social and environmental engagements! Would definitely recommend. I was among the first cohort of users so been with tomorrow over 2 years...

A bank that I actually like

The bank's features are similar to other neobanks, in that the app is fast + generally works well, there aren't charges to make transfers (no charges for anything really), support is good, there are savings features built in, and so on.

The thing that sets Tomorrow apart is the good it does (that you do, by extension, as a customer). They use your money for good, instead of, for example, dirty energy. There are constant fundraisers for projects around the world. I like that a lot.

INHUMANE ACCOUNT CLOSURE

INHUMANE ACCOUNT CLOSURE. after receipt of social benefits. apparently due to an active seizure which I had communicated to them is incorrect and they did nothing with that info, did not even try to find a solution with me nor inform me as a human "hey there's been recent activities in your account and it looks like you received social benefits so this is what we need before we close your account" NOPE just blatant account closure without empathy for the livelihood of a human. Zero star for it!

Hi Anna,

we discussed this at length with you.

Your closure was not sudden. You were asked to provide information, when you didn't respond to te request an ordinary account close had to be issued, you then had 2 months time to respond to our request, during which multiple reminders were sent.

When the 2 months notice period passed the acocunt had to be closed.
We sympathize, but if there are issues that need to be clarified and you cannot be reached via the agreed communication channel (email), we are not authorized to continue the business relationship.

We can also understand It’s easy to assume at first that the termination is related to your social benefits and the garnishment. However, you can trace the actual sequence of events leading to the termination by reviewing the many messages we sent you, to which you never replied.

You’re welcome to open a new account with us. We regret the circumstances surrounding your termination and the inconvenience this has caused you.

Fake website-avoid

I ordered over a month ago. I never received the product and have tried on numerous times to contact the provider but to no avail. I can only presume this is a fake website so highly recommend avoiding at all cost.
