YouTube 

Upon using YouTube over the last few days, I was disgusted with the recent removal of dislikes on shorts. Having been a small YouTuber for 17 years, I am well aware that dislikes, whilst unpleasant to receive, are an important metric to gage viewer feedback (since not everyone will comment). I hope they will reverse this change.

I don't know how they do this but they infiltrated me for 1 yr!!
I hadn't followed news for nearly 8yrs and coped better than ever, I literally was obsessed by news prior to this till I realized i allowed news to take over my life... control my emotions... It was awful... I lived in fear! Call me weak I don't care...

For the past year or so I started watching Youtube more an more. Suddenly I was flooded with Main Stream Media again... I was loving it, watching Youtube all night, sleeping less and less, sometimes I binged all night... It took me over a year to realize what happened... I started making contact with Youtube asking how can I switch news OFF, they said I can not. I asked really, do children get this too. They said NO, we don't send them news. I found an answer to my problems! I signed up for a child's Youtube account with difficulty and now just use this... 10 days now and I don't have a clue what's happening in the world of News or Politics... My mental health has improved rapidly...
In the UK the government is pushing for under 16's to be banned from social media... I don't really judge but think this is AWFUL the priority this is getting when there is a awful knife crime epidemic and a long list of worse things the government should be prioritizing over this social media ban. It's crazy... But really if anything should have an 'opt out of' option is the NEWS and Main Stream Media...

I've found a way to stop this flooding my life and me enjoying Youtube and videos of fun adorable dogs / puppies welcoming and calming rescue cats or similar animals... BLISS! When before I would get zero of this and just horrid news... YouTube this happened all under your watch.... People switch to a child's account and get the video content back you want and is good for your mind.... Peace and love!

Title: YouTube deleted all my channels without explanation - no real appeal process

Review: I had three YouTube channels with more than 250 videos, including fashion,
interior design and my own self composed music. Some videos had tens of thousands
of views.

After more than two years online, YouTube suddenly claimed that one fashion video
violated their guidelines - without showing what was wrong.

I immediately offered to remove the video, but instead YouTube deleted all my channels permanently, including those unrelated to the issue. Several of my Gmail accounts were
also disabled, and two are still missing.

All appeals were rejected automatically. - No explanation. No evidence.
No chance to correct anything.

No human review.
I am over 70 years old and have invested years of work, thousands of hours, and a large
part of my pension into creating music and videos. Losing everything overnight without
due process is devastating.

I hope YouTube will take responsibility and improve transparency, communication,
and fairness in their decision making.

It is got very good word in most videos such as ***** and ***** So yes not much to say. The adds make it a 3 star but not talking about that. ******

It just started a few weeks ago. No add blockers allowed on You Tube and many many adds before and during ALL you tube videos. This never happened in the past.

Dislikes were hidden and now the dislike button has been removed.

Flooded with AI videos and bot created accounts with paid views and upvotes.

There is no quality control on youtube. It's dead.

YouTube is a trap for its users. Too many unscrupulous adverts. Currently YouTube is flooded with adverts that claim scientist by the name of Steve has created this cooling device that is destroying a/c industry. At the same time we can see reviews on YouTube telling us that the product is not working and that there is no compressed air of any sort in it. YouTube! Why are you letting people lie to us and steal our money? Shut YouTube down until it fixes this issue

I have today closed my account with You Tube. Why? Because it is toxic. Example: This Company is American owned and it’s about time the CEO paid more attention to the slander, lies and outright hate towards a particular public figure. Several of these channels are American owned, as are their posters, and are peddling hate and unchecked vitriol. The descriptions are not long enough to read, only a few seconds, and anyone who fact checks either the Channel owner or a poster is met with vitriolic abuse. Time to put a stop to this disgusting way of allowing hate on their platforms in order to increase revenue. On any given day, there will be at least a dozen shorts, peddling sickening content.

I remove ans block simba mattresses avert daily and the following day it comes back. The block don’t work

As a paying member I can say the monetization of invasive ads is DISGUSTING. youtube can not be endorsed or promoted while they take steps in this direction and should be ignored/boycotted even.

No help and no way to simply update billing information. Spent hours with chat and even got to a live person who wasn’t allowed to talk my credit card info.

Traumatised from a few disturbing videos from the past and they are still allowed up there , i also want to point out I am sick of so many adverts and gaming adverts and also misleading adverts , adverts pop up to often I am getting very sick of it , you should learn to blur sensitive content there are kids on here who probably get traumatised sort it out YouTube

They allow fraud to be rife on their site. They allow illegal and fake sites to advertise opening on their site. Do not trust any advert you see on YouTube as they are mostly fake. Do not purchase anything from this site or believe any advertising you see on YouTube. They are not interested in checking companies just taking their money for advertisement.
DO NOT BELIEVE ANY ADVERTS ON THIS PLATFORM. THEY ARE MOSTLY FAKE.

That alone says a organisation that wants to force feed urrer garbage and i cant say i do not wish to see this stuff. Give me back that option plus the "not interested" as youtube keep telling me to watch vids I have already watched.

I can no longer do anything about that as they seem to think I love watching vids I've already seen.

It is 0 star , you can not hear anything on it , ads aremore than songs, completely horrible.

Shitification in full swing there:
- nearly as many stupid adverts (including scams) as content per watch time.
- big censorship and harassment of anti-woke creators as well as in comment sections (shadow bans and stuff).
- Overpush of shorts to copy TikTok.

The only reason people stay is because of its usage legacy and because interesting content creators still have to publish there to exist, but it has become really really bad.

Why are there so few ads? I want non stop ads please. Delete all the videos and just post ads. Millions of ads!!!
I want it now. Please. I am desperate for ads.
