Ordered an A/C unit and got an email saying they were out of stock.
Come on guys, it’s not 1999 - live stock control isn’t exactly hard, and you really shouldn’t be selling things you don’t have.
3 stars rather than one because they emailed me pretty quickly to let me know, but not 4 because they didn’t automatically refund me having sold something they didn’t actually have.

Great customer support. I initially ordered one item then I wanted to order one more item but that would mean another delivery tax. However the support team helped me to re-do the order to avoid paying the delivery costs twice. I didn't have to wait long for responses from support team which was great.
The bought items were packaged professionally. The parcel was quite the size since the bought items were:
* De longhi DLM8LX Electric oven
* De longhi PFI46GH Professional GAS COOKING TOP
The delivery was from Italy to Romania. The delivery time was reasonable for an international delivery, and I had tracking info from FedEx. In total from ordering time until delivery there were about 10 days.
The two items are working fine, and also there were no defects, scratches.

I purchased a vitroceramic induction…
I purchased a vitroceramic induction cooktop for around CHF 2,000. After a relatively short time, it started producing a high-pitched noise during use, even with only one cooking zone active.
A little over two years after installation, there was a loud bang during normal cooking, and the glass surface chipped underneath a pan.
The company’s response was that this can happen due to so-called “micro-damage” developing over time, and that they bear no responsibility once the warranty has expired.
For a product in this price range, this is simply not acceptable. A cooktop of this quality should last significantly longer, and dismissing such a failure as “normal” raises serious concerns about both product durability and customer support.
I would expect a company in this segment to stand behind its products — not hide behind technical explanations once the warranty period has just passed.

We would however like to clarify that the Smeg SIM3964D hob is a product covered by the official manufacturer's warranty, valid for the period required by applicable regulations. Once this period has expired, any anomalies are assessed exclusively by the manufacturer or authorised service centres.
Regarding the ceramic glass breakage, manufacturers themselves indicate that events of this type can be caused over time by micro-stress, impacts or thermal stress, even when not immediately visible. For this reason, after the warranty has expired, it is not possible to automatically attribute such occurrences to an original defect in the product (delivered November 2023).
We understand that, for products in this price range, expectations are high; however, the warranty conditions and intervention procedures are established directly by the manufacturer and applied uniformly.
Nevertheless, as customer satisfaction is our top priority, we confirm that our Customer Service team has already been in touch with you to offer our active support. Despite the warranty period having elapsed, we have taken steps to propose a concrete solution that can meet your needs and resolve the issues you have reported.
