I had ACL reconstruction and meniscus surgery at Søernes Privathospital and overall I had a very good experience.
Dr. Musa Özdogan is a very skilled and professional surgeon. He explained things clearly, made me feel calm before the procedure, and the surgical result looks very neat and well done cosmetically. I really appreciate the care and precision in his work.
The staff at the hospital were also excellent. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional, and the whole process felt well organized.
The only small suggestion I would make is to provide a few more wound dressings and cold gel packs for patients to take home after surgery, as these are used quite quickly during the first days of recovery.
Overall I am very satisfied with the treatment and I would recommend Søernes Privathospital and Dr. Musa Özdogan to others.

I had a meniscus collapse at the beach, and I was in pain for the next 3 weeks until I finally went to my doctor in the public sector. They referred me to a specialist, and that specialist performed an MRI. Two meniscus tears with flaps towards the inside. Public hospital reffered me to Søernes Privathospital. I got an appointment a week after my repheral, that is pretty fast for danish standards. I met the surgeon that was going to operate, Simon, new surgeon but with a lot of experience in sports (with important teams and also as a sportsman himself). He was kind, knowledgeable, and answer my million technical questions with respect and detail. I was scheduled for surgery. During "getting ready" for my surgery (that was 3 hours ago), I met two of the anesthesiologist Johannes and Christine, they were extremely kind, and again handled my questions with professionalism and care. They brought me back from the anesthesia world. During my preparation, the nurses Louise and Lene, were on top of things. They understood I was nervous, they were sweet, kind, and again professional, they made it feel like nothing bad could happen, and ensure that I was comfortable. They know how to listen (because I talk a lot) and that is so important for patients in my opinion. They did their job but also brought the human aspect into the picture. Lene made me an amazing coffee with milk, that is not standard in situations like this. This was possible only because Louise brought her milk foamer from home. After the surgery I was woken up by Lene and she gave me the opportunity to talk and say all of the nonsense I wanted. Meds wore off quickly (maybe because of my metabolism or because the anesthesiologist did a great job at not over drugging me, another extra point for these people). Simon came after my surgery and explained in detail all of the procedure, risks and potential implications for my future. Again, I bombarded him with lots of questions and he handled them professionally and kindly. I am still here, writing this review and I don't feel rushed. I am looking at the lakes and I feel like things will be ok. I will be able to go back home and soon play with my kids again.
A special thanks to all of the receptionist and staff that guided me during the process of switching from public to private. They were kind and professional.
Thanks a lot to everyone involved. If in doubt, ask them, they will be honest and treat you with respect, something that is becoming less common in this new rushed world that we live in.

The staff are very nice and thorough, unfortunately after over a month of waiting for my results I have not recieved them, despite calling twice.

Making someone wait for results for health tests for this long, especially from a private hospital is cruel and unfprofessional.

Couldn’t have asked for more attention to care and detail during my last visit. Both the nurses and doctors were kind, and I felt safe and taken care of. Would wish to return, if the need arose

I had an amazing experience in this hospital. When I found out I would be waiting for 5 months for my surgery in a public hospital, I contacted Søernes Privathospital. They examined me within a week and planned my surgery a week after. It was a very fast process without any complications. Doctors and nurses spoke very professional English with me without any struggle. Special thanks belongs to the nurse Julia and Doctor Mikkel Lindegaard Attrup who provided me with professional care, a detailed explanation of the surgery, and the healing process.
I am feeling very lucky and finally relieved.
