I ordered parking passes via Stubhub for a Savannah Bananas event. All went well except the parking lot itself was very small and parking was tight. But all was good from the Stubhub perspective.

Unfortunately my experience w/stubhub wasn't great as I couldn't open the ticket from my phone. It must have taken at least an 1-1/2 hours to get it resolved. Basically I had the Hollywood Bowl try... See more

StubHub’s checkout map presented a…

StubHub’s checkout map presented a blatantly misleading visual. Even though the seller buried a disclaimer in fine print, StubHub placed the map pin directly on Lumen Field, creating the clear impression that the parking slot were in the Lumen Field garage. Showing a marker on the stadium while concealing the true location—a full 20‑minute walk away—is not an innocent oversight. It is a deceptive visual tactic that accelerates sales by giving buyers a false sense of proximity and value.

We bought tickets for an event which were supposed to arrive by 2pm the day of the event. The event started at 6. By 4:30, I contacted customer and they said that they had to reissue replacement tickets which were not as good. Those tickets never arrived as well. We waiting with customer support on the chat line until 1/2 hour after the event started at which point they offered a refund. If you are travelling to another city, or have to incur greater costs, in addition to the event itself, I would NOT EVER trust Stub hub.

Two hours before door opening, I was told my tickets were not coming

From initial purchase to the disappointing end, eveything about stubhub was terrible. If you are purchasing a ticket for a game or a show that you really want to see, I would NOT recommend Stubhub. While they were able to refund my money, they were not able to fulfill the experience I had purchased for me and my daughter, and that she had been looking forward to for months.

As soon as I made the purchase I started to question whether things would turn out well. First, it was not clear at the time of purchase that I was not actually buying a ticket from Stubhub. It was not until I got my email confirmation that I read how they would "let me know" once my tickets were "ready for transfer." Then I read the part that was most concerning, "don't worry" they would be delivered by the date of the event, no later than two hours before the doors would open.

I checked with a friend if I should be concerned and I combed through Stubhub's information page, all of which assured me this was totally normal and that my tickets would be honored, and that in the unusual event they were not available, they would get me comparable or BETTER tickets, and, if all else failed, I could get a refund. HOWEVER, I could not get a refund BEFORE the date and time the tickets were promised - TWO HOURS BEFORE OPENING!! What was I supposed to do if the tickets didn't come through??

Well, of course, my concerns were realized when, on the day of the event, 1.5 hours before opening, Stubhub informed me that they were having trouble with my tickets and that no other tickets were available but that they could refund my money. Well, that's a little late considering I had already made plans and my daughter was so excited about this event.

To make things worse, the only way I could contact anyone was that I had to download the app and start a virtual chat. Then, the AI virtual agent effectively hung up on me when I asked to speak with a live agent. It told me that a live agent would tell me the same thing it already had so it was going to "end the chat now."

In the end, Stubhub refunded the money I paid. However, this does nothing to help with the disappointment and time lost and money spent on preparation for the event.

Stubhub never offered an explanation of what happened. I know that it was not that tickets "had not yet been released" as many other people who purchased tickets through other platforms had them in hand months before. Stubhub should have provided me with a means of a refund long before two hours before opening. Perhaps I would have chosen to spend more in order to have tickets in hand. Instead, I was assured that I would get them and that all would be well.

All around, it was a terrible experience and I will NEVER be using Stubhub again.

Should have been a 5 star review

When we first bought the tickets, it was billed as a concert with John Fogerty AND Steve Winwood. I probably would not have traveled from S Carolina to Colorado for just Fogerty. That being said, the Red Rock experience was excellent, the tickets we purchased were very good and Fogerty (at 81 years old) was sensational. But, I am a huge Winwood fan and the intro band (Hearty Har) was a waste of time. When the venue changes, shouldn't the customer be notified?

Exceeded expectations

Due to family emergencies and such, we had to rearrange quite a few plans to attend concerts this summer. StubHub offered services that were easy and quick to use to sell and buy new tickets.

Purchasing the tickets was easy

Purchasing the tickets was easy.
Scanning the QR Code at the gate was a breeze.
Red Rocks Ampitheater was an amazing venue. Even the rain storm and lightning added to the experience. Delayed the concert but both performances were fantastic! Hearty Har and John Fogerty.

My tickets were not loaded correctly…

My tickets were not loaded correctly into my account from the seller, making it impossible to retrieve my tickets. StubHub makes it challenging to speak with a live person! It took 2 hours of texting to chat with your company first until I finally got a phone number to have a 15 minute conversation with your representative to resolve my issue.
It took almost 3 hours to fix the problem and get my tickets!! It was a terrible experience!!!

Scammed by customer service

I tried to sell tickets on this sorry site. I did everything they asked me to do and even called customer service to make sure the sell went thru. Customer service assured me the sale went thru and I would be paid in 5 days. Instead of getting paid I got charged for twice as much as I was selling the tickets for. I sent all the screenshots of the transfers and even the exact date and time of my call with customer service to the dispute department. Even with all the evidence They still said it was my fault. It seems to me like all of this was done on purpose. If not, why didn’t customer service let me know there was a problem with the sale. There are over 2k employees where I work. I will share my experience with as many of them as I can. Hopefully I can save some of them the headache of dealing with StubHub

This site is a hub for scams

This site is a hub for scams. I was charged $75 for parking that’s closest to the stadium for immediate access. There was no such parking lot and the cost for parking for the public was $50! I paid more for nothing. Stubhub is also really just a resale ripoff similar to what ticket master got sued for doing. These sites make it impossible for anyone to afford a concert for a decent price. I call these tech hustles. People make a living at it at the expense of the public and appreciation of live performance art.
