Don't want to pay up!!!
The other party admitted liability on 13.02.26 and sent payment to QDOS. We have rang up several times to chase this payment until eventually on 27.04.26 we received an email saying they would send payment and we would receive it within 3-5 working days, this never happened. We have rang numerous times since only to be told "we have to contact accounts" however accounts can only be reached by email. Apparently accounts never respond. We asked for complaints to be raised several times only to be lied to saying "we cant raise a complaint" or "you need to write in" this is all rubbish. When asked to speak to a manager we were told "they have all gone home", "managers don't work after 4pm". We eventually got to speak to a manager who said again even at his level he could only email accounts and had no other way of expediting the issue. He also said that a complaint was now raised which he couldn't deal with but he would take ownership of the payment. A week later and this manager still didn't call us so we had to ring back in. No update and the same line of I will email accounts again. Also to add that we have still not received any contact from a complaints handler to say they are dealing with our issue. So at this point we still have no payment, no update, no active complaint and no hope of ever receiving our money.
If I could leave 0 stars I would.

I accepted a third-party settlement offer through Qdos on 10 February. Since that date, I have been persistently chasing—at least once per week—for confirmation and receipt of the agreed payment. On every occasion, I have been reassured by the customer services team that the relevant department was “chasing the third party,” that my case had been marked as urgent, and that internal emails had been sent requesting updates.
This same response was repeated to me weekly from 10 February through to the week commencing 20 April.
During the Easter half term, I was escalated to a customer services manager who acknowledged my frustration and assured me that the matter would be escalated further and that I would be contacted directly. Despite this assurance, I have not received a single proactive communication from Qdos—no phone call, email, or letter. Every update has required me to initiate contact, despite having confirmed that you hold my correct contact details.
2 weeks ago, having lost confidence in their process, I contacted the third party directly. I was informed that payment for my loss of earnings had in fact been made to Qdos on 16 February—over two months ago.
This raises serious concerns. I have spent weeks being told that payment was still being chased, when in reality the funds had already been received. I have since been informed that the “chasing” noted on my file related to an outstanding balance for vehicle repairs—an issue entirely unrelated to my loss of earnings claim. It is completely unacceptable that this distinction was not identified or communicated at any stage, despite my repeated calls and your team’s supposed internal follow-ups.
Frankly, it is extremely concerning that I, as a customer with no internal access, was able to obtain accurate information within a single email, while your organisation failed to identify this over the course of more than two months of weekly contact. This points to a serious breakdown in internal communication and basic case handling.
I got an email on 30th April saying it was posted and give it 3-5 working days. It’s been longer than that. I’ve called 10 times throughout the day and have only been told that it will get chased. Unless the accounts team are full of roadrunners how hard is it to answer a question?
I logged a complaint and received no acknowledgement.
If you have an accident and want it handled message me I will guarantee I’ll do a better job than these frauds. The whole point of using places like this is to make it simpler, the minutes I’ve racked up chasing these lot may aswell just have done it myself.

The worst company ever
The worst company ever, I had the accident in march provided me with a car only to be taken away in 2 weeks because the other party insurance settled and pay the damages I was non fault, and I am still waiting to be paid I it’s been 6 weeks now I have called complaint nothing has been done customer support says it’s the finance department and there’s nothing they can do , I call every week nothing it’s being done and I am suffering I have to pay taxi to go to work , such a disgrace a disappointing company 0 stars if I could give you shame on you Qdos

I wouldn't even give 1 star at this point.
In January, I was asked for my bank details to settle the claim.
Come April, after multiple calls and getting fobbed off with "the accounts team doesn't have a phone number", I decided to send a formal complaint, demanding payment within 7 days.
I immediately got a reply, saying they'd processed the payment through BACS and it would be in my account within 5 working days.
It's been 2 weeks now and still no payment. My emails are now being ignored, and when I phone, I get the same answer "the accounts team has to deal with this but you can't talk to them"
I feel absolutely powerless, let down and frustrated.
I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend this company.
I don't understand why they havent given my payment
I don't understand how my accident is related to Qdos, but they have been withholding my payment for the accident that occurred on January 25th, without providing a clear explanation. I treated them gently and didn't contact them until March, believing they would reach out to me as soon as they received the payment from the insurance company. However, they have been bullying me ever since. The account team never answers calls, and the advisors are unable to help. They have not only wasted a significant amount of my time but have also caused considerable psychological distress. I truely wish my broker wasn’t Qdos.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
This is a highly unreliable company. 5 months into an accident that was entirely not my spouses fault. Driver accepted blame, agreed to take full responsibility. 5 months down, no accountability, no communication, nor settlement. BEWARE!!!
Once you sign the contracts you are totally and intentionally ignored.

This company is fraud
This company is fraud. My no at fault claim started on 7 November 2025 and till now I haven’t received my payment. I have already made complaint to FOS. The customer services is run by “don’t know whom”and the account team doesn’t exist. They have received my money and are delaying it for no reason. Don’t even think to start your claim with them or you will be regretting.
