Like so many others had an unsuccessful claim ..everything they can to not pay will be used. I am actually struggling to see a positive review re a successful claim on this site . My dog always been insured with Perfect Pet , never previously made a claim, literally thousands paid In premiums, a nominal third of claim paid out, less than £100 .
From my experience and what looked at on here I had zero confidence any claim would be settled so couldn’t wait to not renew and to end this terrible relationship .Also of course then I have the monies saved in premiums for vets fees if arise . I had to keep paying premiums for the term but I told them I would not be renewing, to cancel the automatic renewal, which they said had.
Since cancelling my direct debit, which I did at first opportunity , I have received various communications but so annoyed to see that just received today notification of automatic renewal and of course because of my claim the premiums would have gone up.
I had zero confidence in this company and it’s internal procedures so asked back in March for written confirmation that the automatic renewal has been turned off and this was confirmed to me by email on the 17 March 2026 .I am so frustrated .

Only covers select illnesses as I have just found out trying to make a claim. Our cat had to have all his teeth removed due to an infection in the gums £1000's pounds later only to find out they don't cover anything dental. I even upgraded to the extra cover policy. Avoid
