Chicken is dry as hell and you only get rice and chicken in the burritos where are the beans in them. For the price I paid I wouldn’t bother going back and also took ages to cook it

Piping hot fresh food, good portion sizes every visit is pleasant, good customer service, excellent delivery service too, staff polite. Good experience every time

Appalling food quality, zero customer care.....

​Ordered a birthday meal including a "Chicken XL" meal from Pepe's Piri Piri via Just Eat, costing nearly £60. What arrived was a joke missing items, and an "XL" burger that looked like scraps of dried-up chicken thrown onto a bun with barely any filling. It was completely inedible and nowhere near what was advertised.
​When I tried to resolve this, Just Eat's customer service and "Advanced Solutions" team were an absolute disgrace. They hid behind secret internal "policies" and refused to issue a refund, claiming that charging £60 for sub-standard, missing food is totally fine. They are entirely focused on pocketing maximum profit while offering zero accountability or basic decency to the customer.
​Avoid ordering from Pepe's Piri Piri, and do not expect any help from Just Eat if they mess up your order. Absolute cowboy operation from top to bottom.

Very Disappointing

Really poor service from Pepe’s at 124 Woodlands Road, Glasgow. This is not the first time we have had problems with our orders. Items are regularly missing, drinks are forgotten, or we receive the wrong food.

On this occasion, the burger was not properly cooked, which is completely unacceptable. Customers should be able to expect their food to be prepared properly and their orders to be checked before being handed over.

The staff need to be much more careful and responsible when preparing and checking orders. They also need to treat customers fairly and take more care with the service they provide.

For a place that people pay good money to eat from, this level of service is simply not good enough. Very disappointing and definitely needs improvement.

i went to pepes today with my dad, all normal. we go to order and we both get 2 chicken burritos i get a lemon and herb and my dad gets a hot since he likes it spicy. we sit down to wait and once we get called for our food i watch the lady at the counter fil the 2 pepsi to the max giving us no space to put in our straw without it leaking. due to me and my dad having no idea how full it was we put on the straws and it kept leaking. my dad started cleaning it up with the measly 2 paper wipes given. we both wipe the table just to not seem rude. since they only gave us two paper wipes he went to ask for more and when i mean the lady at the counter gave him the biggest stare. i mean it. we came to eat since why else would we have ordered food and we were about to open the burritos just to see they gave us two lemon and herb burritos. he went back to the counter to talk to the lady and explained our situation about the wrong food. once we started waiting they would finish about 3-5 orders before my dad went up there and had to remind the staff about the food. after a few long minutes he came to go get his burrito just for it to be extra hot even after clearly saying he wanted it hot. I wouldnt recomend this place to my worst enemy😭

caerphilly should be shut down

my chicken was green and moldy i don’t recommend. gave me explosive diarrhoea and had me on the toilet for days. it also gave me food poisoning and salmonella i had to go and see a doctor about it, they said this type of food poisoning is incurable. overall don’t come if you don’t want to be violently vomiting 🤮 😡😡😡👎👎👎👎🔥🔥🔥

Awful. Product missing from order. Why are you charging the customers for meal if you don't give the drink. Is the worst fast-food ever. Big catastrophe

My first experience with Pepes was in Stockport. We waited ages for food. Bare in mind they were not busy at all in fact our order was the only one on their screen. All of the staff working there made me very uncomfortable as a girl looking constantly at me literally staring up and down and talking to each other in their language.Food was okay, it was fresh but it was seriously lacking flavour.

A few weeks later a new branch near us has opened so we wanted to give it another chance as it had good ratings on google. Those are all added by family and friends so not real reviews.
Unfortunately this was even more disappointing when it comes to food. Horrible chips, dry, no salt. Chicken burger tasted like oil that was used too much. Again, no flavour at all. I am incredibly disappointed about your churros. No sugar coating on them and you forgot to put sauce in the bag. Chicken wings were mid. Also they gave us wrong drinks.

Overall very disappointing, could never recommend either branches. Not a good business to support.

The owner of this restaurant name shaz doesn't have manners he treats uber drivers and inside employees like slaves and disrespect them this is the 2nd time he misbehaved with me I recommend to boycott this restaurant thanks

Your prices are ridiculous

I must say the food was delicious, however I ordered a PLAIN chicken a rice box, plain to me is plain but gosh my mouth is on fire 🔥 🥵

Tasty Food and Good Customer Service

ordered rice box and slice of cake. Literally 50% of order missing. I called the branch they apologised and said they would issue a refund for the missing cake if i request through just eat. I requested it but was denied by just eat. Will not be ordering again. Rice box was hot when ordered mild average at best. Avoid if ordering off an app they will forget half your order

Ordered a chicken box & what come was honestly shocking not one peace of chicken it was literally a burnt bone and loads of rice wouldn’t recommend rang up to be told no one else as complained maybe no one else has been served a bone in a box with no meat on it / castle brom / Bradford road pepes

Pepes is absolutely amazing I don’t get the people who are saying one star would definitely recommend their food is so good
