Cheap but at the cost of fiddly…
Cheap but at the cost of fiddly insurance suspensions! if you pay monthly. The suspend button appears and disappears as they please and you can only suspend for a month then its automatically reactivated and you have to play hide and seek again with the suspension button sometimes even with the suspension page:
"Siamo Spiacenti
Al momento la pagina non è accessibile."
So effectively you can only suspend every other month not a number of months in a row since you are given no option to extend the current suspension.
So if you need longer suspension it is more trouble than its worth.
The company tried to reach out to identify who I am but I would rather remain anonymous; insurances like banks maintain ratings on their customers and besides, this website isn't a support platform.
I have provided Trustpilot proof that I am a genuine customer.
Linear insurance should consider making their unusual suspension policie clear before one signs up rather than bury them in pages and pages of terms and conditions.

Windscreen repair service does not work
Their system for windscreen repairs does not work-- at least it does not work in Florence. The number of Unipolglass Firenze 01 was constantly engaged. And on the one occasion that I got a dialling tone, the line went dead immediately after the call was answered, suggesting someone hung up. So, since the repair was very urgent, I called the number for the whole of Italy and was told someone would call me back. By late afternoon nobody had called, so I made an appointment with Carglass. That means I have to pay the excess of €150. Finally someone did call back...at 17.13. As it happens, I renewed my Linear policy this morning. I wish I had not.
