We cancelled our trip in May, and at the time we had a valid cancellation insurance policy.
To this day, no payment has been credited to our account, and customer service has not even bothered to respond.
Never book a holiday at Billund Lalandia.

BEST HOLIDAY EVER!!
Amazing place, wonderful facilities, so much to do. The house was so clean, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The eateries had variety of food all delicious. The aqua dome was fantastic, we didn't want to go home. We can recommend this resort highly enough. We are booking again for next year!

The kids had fun - which is the main thing, and they want to go again.
However, there are some fundamental issues which should be easy to fix:
1) There is not enough cutlery at the house - the washing machine is pointless because you need to wash be hand to have for the next meal. There should be at least 2 sets - preferably 3 sets - of cutlery and plates per person the house is suited for. There were only 4 forks and 5 knives at our house.

2) There's parties all night long in some house - all days. There has to be quiet at 23.00 - but no one is enforcing it. The houses are old and even small noises will be heard in the house. This is a kids vacation site - not Ibiza!

3) The lounge sofas are great - but again the personnel is not enforcing if people pay. I spent a lot of money on this each day and people kept coming in without paying - only the guests who informed the personnel where helping enforcing it. How hard can it be to take a round once an hour to check bookings?

4) Lalandia is not respecting opting out of marketing. This year - again - they sent me marking from Cewe Photo. I wrote them last year that I didn't sign up for this. And yet they sent it again. It's illegal both in terms of Danish marketing regulation and GDPR while they use my date for purposes I didn't consent to.

All of the above is quite easily fixed, so I don't get why this has to be issues. Even though my kids are begging to come beg I am very reluctant to come back a third time.

Fantastic experience at Restaurant Bones in Søndervig Lalandia
We had booked a table for four people (2 adults and 2 children) on June 10th.
Although the restaurant was understaffed, we were greeted by smiling and professional staff. The waiters were welcoming, the atmosphere was good, and the food was really good.
It was clear that the staff made a great effort to take good care of both children and adult guests.
A special compliment to the waiters for their friendliness and energy – especially when it is busy. We highly recommend a visit – remember to book a table and be nice to the waiters, they do a fantastic job!

Lalandia gets 1 star and the only reason is their extremely predatory parking system, you get 1h free fair enough not really usable for anything though. Then if you want to park longer than 1h you pay 65 kr, which again fair enough, but then it gets real shitty because you cant leave and come back, then you have to pay 65 kr again which is so scummy of them, like wtf already paid 65 kr once and in theory i could be parked there for like 10 hours if I want, but if I leave to get lunch or something then they are just like fk you pay again, wtf Billund lalandia you need to do better its already Hella expensive.

Loved Lalandia Billund. Got the free bus from the airport, were fortunate to be only halfway into the park - it's a long walk and an often too-full road train to get the the aquadome/Legoland.

The large lodge was excellent and had everything.

Aquadome was first class - only about 6 lifeguards in the whole place so keep an eye on your kids, but some of the slides were brilliant.

Lalandia Billund is absolutely a fun place to enjoy few days break. We were there with our 6 and 12 years kids. The Accuadom was the best part. Water tempareture was good. With the Gold wristband kids has access to all activites like bowling, minigolf etc.

We stayed at their vacation house from 16th to 19th. The house is also nice and clean.

The Aquadome in rødby branch. My second visit during 26 - 29 December. There was alot of cold air in the aquadome, the water was not pleasant, my wife and kids are down with eye infection and throat infection. The rented cottage had a broken heater, they didnt bother to send anyone to fix it even when I complained on the first day. Their branch in Billund is FAR better.

We had a terrible experience at Lalandia as we found a dead house in the apartment we paid for. The house was not handed over to us in an impeccable state, and the resort didn’t claim any responsibility which we found shocking as we have 3 young children, including a two months old for whom the potential risks to their health is huge. We told the resort that mice fecces and saliva can spread bacteria, contaminate food and give allergic reactions. It is commonly known that their fecal matters can even be lethal to humans and all the more small kids and babies. It’s not because it didn’t happen that the resort should be exempted from their responsibility vis a vis their guests and it proves that the cleaning services we paid for was not provided. At last, barring these health considerations, it was our kids who found the dead animal and had a big scare- the most worrying was that they could have placed it in their mouth or play with it if we hadn’t been vigilant. All of this was simply disregarded by the hotel, as their email states. I find it so shocking that I am sharing their appalling response with the travel community. Watch out, they’re after the money and customer satisfaction is clearly not their values. They claimed the mouse was found during check out, for all I know one minute before check out or one minute after check in is the same: we paid during this timeframe. End of story.

First of all, thank you for visiting us and also thank you for writing to us with your experiences. We really appreciate this because it is with our guests' eyes and ears that we can see and hear best what it is like to visit us.

I am of course very sorry to read that you had an uninvited guest visiting the holiday home. However, I'm pleased that you were not disturbed by the mouse during your vacation since you only found it just before departure and it was dead.

I have, of course, asked my sweet colleagues in the technical department to check the house and set up traps so we can hopefully ensure that there are no other mice in the house.

It may happen that there are e.g. flies, ants, mosquitoes, swallows and not least also mice, and of course we do everything we can to let the nature and the animals in it know that they should not move inside, but unfortunately it does not always succeed. My sweet colleagues in the technical department always make a persevering preventive effort, but it still happens once in a while that a mouse find a way inside, and unfortunately we can not completely avoid this, when the holiday homes are located in nature and close to fields.

Therefore - and also because you only discovered the mouse just before departure, and it didn't disturb you during your stay - we can't fulfill your request for compensation/refund.

I hope that you despite the mouse had a wonderful stay and that we get the pleasure of welcoming you here again another time for a stay completely without uninvited guests.

If you want to be able to keep your food down do NOT visit Lalandia Rødby! Most disgusting changing room I have ever visited! Used diapers lying in the showers (for HOURS), big hairballs all around (even on the ceiling and not removed from day to day) very dirty floors, urin all over bathrooms. And this was not a one-time-experience, this was every day at all hours for 7 days straight. NEVER going back there!

Spoiler alert... energy,water prise is NOT included in a main bil ....You will pay it later...with is total cheapskate,considering how much everything there is overprised...
Our home was dirty,there was hair under the sink( a lot)...ok,it "can" happen,but schouldn't (cleaning lady is also a human;) was there with my familly...definitely will not came back there anymore.
Feeling about Lalandia....hmm it is more like,You need to pay as much as You can,and they will try to "give" You as less,as they can ;)

But to be honest,my son was happy;) so our holiday was not totally ruined

Waited an hour in queue to get fries because of rude and customer unfriendly staff. Would not visit again. The staff are mean and rude.

It is more than disgrace full that due to the fact our car broke down no option to postpone the holiday just for a few days so we can still can go on holiday. We were referred to the insurance but when your private car brakes down and you can't arrive nothing can be done and this insurance is not covering this. As Lalandia is not owning the houses they are renting to customer. Now we do not get a refund and referring to the insurance Lalanadia asks you to pay for will not cover this. So To our opinion never book here.

Our first time and wont be the last! Its a relaxed but fun vacation for a family with kids.

We loved the home we got to stay in(it felt so private and relax homey feel), the view (we could see swans every morning while we ate breakfast in the water), the location, the monkeyland (which is a big in door playground), the restaurants and coffe shops.. but above all, we enjoyed the aquadom!

We plan on coming back soon and my kids cant wait!

The place is very nice.Children enjoy every second.
But for people with electric car Be Aware the price for kw/h is about 200% more expensive than normal.

Queue, queue and queue, should not let that many people in the aquadome at the same time, way to many people, it just ruins the experience with queue all the time.
