Not the best wash this time
I've been happy with the service so far. However, my most recent wash wasn't great. The drier didn't do very well & I found bird poo on my car when I got home so bits were also missed in the wash cycle.
Also the exit warning light machine has been broken for ages. This should really be fixed for safety reasons!

Great service as ever. The Minworth outlet is the best I’ve ever been to. The attention to detail is great. I’ve been to lots of IMO’s where ‘a pre wash’ is just wet the car, but not at Minworth. Keep up the great work😀

I've been using IMO Car Wash for years
I've been using IMO Car Wash for years, but unfortunately the quality of the wash seems to have declined significantly while the prices have gone up.
It appears that there are now fewer of the large automated brushes than there used to be, and as a result the overall clean simply isn't as good as it once was. It feels like most of the cleaning is now being left to the guys and girls doing the quick pre-rinse before the vehicle enters the wash. However, this is little more than a jet spray set on a high pressure and a brief application of chemicals lasting around 20 seconds, which isn't enough to properly remove traffic film, grime, dirt marks, or stubborn road contamination.
In the past, the larger brushes did more of the work and the end result was cleaner. Now, despite paying the same prices, the wash quality is nowhere near the standard it used to be.
I'm also sceptical about the "Triple Wash" option. Previously, you could clearly see the three different coloured foams being applied throughout the wash cycle. Now, all I ever see is white foam with no visible evidence that the triple-colour treatment is actually being used. It leaves customers wondering whether they're still receiving the full service they're paying for.
Overall, it feels like customers are being charged the same prices but receiving a reduced level of cleaning and service. It's becoming increasingly difficult to justify the cost when the car often still has visible dirt and traffic film remaining afterwards.

As always I am a happy customer
As always I am a happy customer. Quick thorough wash, buying them through the app, which works perfectly fine. Also collecting points for extra rewards is a plus to get the wash cheaper or even free ones every now and then. The staff is always very friendly and I also use the free vaccuum cleaners afterwards. I usually buy the triple foam wash, which totally works for me. Coming back frequently.
