I contacted Heat outdoors when my wall-mounted patio heater, which I had owned for several years, developed a fault and stopped working. To be honest, I had no great expectations that anything could be done given the age of the heater.
I was absolutely delighted with the customer service I received. Ruth the lady I dealt with was exceptionally personable, empathetic and genuinely keen to help. She listened to my problem, understood my concerns and guided me through the process in such a friendly and helpful way.
The communication throughout was excellent. Everything I was told would happen was followed through, and whenever I was promised a call back, I was contacted exactly as agreed and within the timeframe given. That level of communication and reliability made the whole experience completely stress-free.
The issue was resolved seamlessly and I was left feeling that my problem genuinely mattered to the company. Customer service of this standard is increasingly rare, and I felt it really deserved to be recognised.

Ordered a heater last year through Heat Outdoors. Unfortunately, we had an issue which pointed to an internal failure. We reached out to Heat Outdoors via email and Ruth replied to us. She offered a replacement of a higher spec model free of charge as our previous lamp was now unavailable. This was an example of top class customer service and I will recommend Heat Outdoors to anyone. Thank you

Ordered an Empire 3kw + sidekick. We received a Shadow Diffussion heater + sidekick. Phone call, quick check and the correct heater was dispatched and with weekend delivery as we had just moved in to a new home. The heaters? Also fantastic - it is sadly rare to to get this level of customer service and for companies to turn frowns in to big smiles, Heat Outdoors did just that. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Absolutely first class customer service. highly recommended. I recently bought the goliath patio heater. In all honesty its a stunning product, really well made and kicks out a load of heat. The spiral flame effect is visually excellent.

Ciara was really helpful, and they turned my order around extremely quickly. They had to do some extra work on their end to make the heaters compatible with what I needed, but did this with no hassle. Excellent customer service!

I purchased a patio heater last summer and at the time there was no covers in stock which was a bit disappointing however one of the staff members Ciara (apologies if I have spelt that wrong) was outstanding at keeping me in the loop with stock, offering me alternatives and just genuinely being really pleasant to deal with. I preferred to wait until the actual one was in stock and received this recently. The heater is brilliant and we have used it throughout the festive period in the garden as well as in the summer. Brilliant customer service and great product!

Dealt with the lovely (and helpful) Ruth and Ciara and now have two superb carbon heating carbon heating panels warming my outdoor garden cabin.
Delivery was fast and efficient too with DHL.

They have provided service well beyond the norm. Always there for advice and repairs when our kit gets damaged on hire.

The reply from heat outdoors is a lie it does not take 2 people to carry it to the door i have proof it was left at the door by 1 driver and the driver came back he admitted he should never have left it there when I spoke to him
I clearly expressed on the first derlivery that there was a mistake and I acknowledged it was my fault

Further more the unit went back faulty amd came back faulty

I have never had such a bad experience i bought a empire heater it all started off wrong
The derlivery came and first 2 boxes were left at my door and no one was in luckily I came home they were still there
The last box which was the empire hrater was derlivered next day or so but I was not aware as my brother had put in the back shed so although it was left at least my brother who passed by took it in
I was not aware and as soon as I found out I let heat outdoors know
Anyway the empire heater did not work only 1 bar woukd heatup so I told heat out doors and then I was told I need to manually fix it I am partially disabled and do not have best eyesight ,i had to try to unscrew these tiny screws and prise open the front the fix in the very fragile element i could not do it !
They agreed to collect it and fix it they collected it eventually and then sent it back without no stand and the unit STILL DID NOT WORK !!!!!
So at that point I had enough I asked them to take the whole order back and I waited in on 3 separate occasions,noone turned up and they eventually offered me a replacement as a gesture of good will and that this would be sent out on a pre 12.30 derlivery as I had family over for Christmas
Again i did NOT receive the derlivery it was told it was left at my front door I asked why as I was not in and if im not in why would yoy allow them to leave a big box in the door way where anyone can see,i conted the police and unfortunately my door bell had low power and as I was away in Southend I could not charge it up
When I complained I received an email i have copied and pasted one section for you to read

On the matter of your ring doorbell (or equivalent) footage, I have to say it beggars’ belief that you have all the footage of the item arriving, but no footage whatsoever of the item disappearing."

This is suggesting in my opinion that i had something to do with this going missing
I would never buy from this company I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend them to anyone I would be careful
I have bought from a company called herschel and they are 100% British made products and they have treated me very well amd the quality of herschel is brilliant

Great friendly service and excellent product, ordered the wrong item by mistake and were really helpful in arranging return and replacment

Heat Outdoors were recommended by our Glass Room fitting firm. We bought a couple of 2KW Ultra Low Glare Shadow Heaters almost 2 years ago and were even given demos of the products at their office in Bishop's Stortford (definitely recommend this as you can see just how warm they get!)
These are perfect for our Glass Room as they efficiently heat people rather than the surrounding air, and we only have the heaters on in their lowest setting, which creates a comfortable atmosphere - even in winter!

The heaters have worked wonderfully, however after an embarrassing DIY attempt to extend the power cable, one of the heaters stopped working; as I didn't want to damage it further I contacted Heat Outdoors and asked for advice and whether they could service it to ensure that I hadn't damaged it. They were happy to do so and because there weren't any issues with it they didn't charge us, but yet still carried out a safety inspection - on top of that they provided a free (and much safer!) extension cable and their technicians gave us some best practice advice on wiring it up! They've been a joy to do business with and even more so thanks to their excellent customer service. We would thoroughly recommend.

rang a reported a problem and in less than 5 mins you sort out the problem with no fess and no blaming someone else, what great aftersales.

Recently had to decide whether to repair existing outdoor heater or replace with brand-new one. Customer services were excellent with their advice and support. Best customer services I’ve ever experienced with any company.Many thanks to Ruth Dewhurst.

Really good quality heater and great customer service. Electrician commented on quality of heater too. Love the remote control. Very warm but easy to adjust heat if too warm. Costs a lot but for a reason! Worth the money
