My experience with CubaLlama has been extremely frustrating.
I recently purchased an EcoFlow DELTA from CubaLlama after waiting months to get this item delivered. I received several emails from CubaLlama stating that the EcoFlow would be delivered within 24 hours. It has now been approximately 48 hours, and the item still has not been delivered. If the company cannot meet a promised delivery time, it should not make that commitment to customers.
I also recently placed a grocery order using PayPal Pay in 4, which is a payment method I have used with CubaLlama before. Shortly afterward, my account was deactivated for "verification." I have attempted to complete the verification process, but the person handling the verification has requested additional personal information that I am uncomfortable providing because of the potential identity and privacy risks.
I have already provided more than enough information to establish that I am the account holder, yet the verification process continues without a clear resolution. Instead of helping me resolve the issue, I feel like I am being pushed through an unnecessarily difficult process while my account and orders remain affected.
The biggest problem is the lack of trust. When a company tells me an item will arrive within 24 hours, I expect that commitment to mean something. When an account is suspended for verification, I expect a reasonable and secure process for resolving it.
At this point, I cannot recommend CubaLlama. Customers should not have to repeatedly chase the company for deliveries or feel uncomfortable about how much personal information they are being asked to provide just to access their account.
CubaLlama needs to improve its delivery reliability, customer service, communication, and verification procedures.
