Bybit stole 1300usdt

Bybit first blocked about 1300usdt and then closed account, means stole 1300usdt. Support said (when blocked) - please wait. I sent all the info they asked for. But then I received the letter telling to transfer all the available funds (1300 still kept blocked) and acc was closed.

Account closed for no reason

I had been using Bybit P2P for a long time. Recently, I experienced multiple cases where counterparties falsely claimed that payment had been sent, repeatedly stalled for hours, and waited until the appeal process expired or the order was cancelled.

I reported these users, provided evidence, opened appeals, and asked Bybit a simple question: does repeatedly claiming “payment sent” without making any transfer violate P2P rules, and are such behaviors tracked internally?

I never received a meaningful answer.

The most concerning part is that the current system allows a counterparty to waste a user's time, make false payment statements, cancel the order before completion, and apparently avoid any visible consequences.

Instead of properly addressing my concerns and explaining what actions were taken regarding the reported users, Bybit later placed my account under a compliance review based on an old transaction from 2024, froze my withdrawals, provided almost no information about the reason, and after the review simply decided to terminate my account.

The account closure notice did not provide any clear explanation of what rule I allegedly violated. I was given only five days to withdraw my remaining assets before permanent closure.

Fortunately, I was able to withdraw my funds, but the overall experience was alarming: users reporting suspicious P2P behavior can end up losing access to the platform, while the reported counterparties appear to continue operating without consequences.

My concern is not only about my individual case, but about the lack of transparency, the lack of accountability in P2P disputes, and the absence of clear communication from compliance.

I strongly advise users to think twice before trust your funds to Bybit.

Bybit = Untrustworthy

Since “Bybit” has created a crypto wallet as WEB 3 application where you can deposit fake USDT Is the opportunity that scammers like “Triff Holdings LTD” do and use it to scam people using fake USDT as a form of fund withdrawal from trading accounts.
Then they say that if the site accepted it, then the money is real.
It disappears during the transfer and then people think that it is their fault, because they must have made a mistake, but in fact the money is simply fake.
I do not recommend any site that has the name “Bybit” in it.
If there are scammers in one place, then there will be others in other places too.

Scammers, because they allowed fake USDT to be deposited. They charge a fee for transferring fake USDT, as if it were real money, and the money disappears, and does not even return.
I do not recommend anything on that has the “Bybit” word combination.
“Triff Holdings LTD” are also scammers. More about Triff Holdings LTD in the review about Triff Holdings LTD on Trustpilot.

Bybit is the worst spot trading exchange with outrageous fees

Tried using Bybit spot trading again recently and the trading fees are much higher than many users initially realize. If you actively trade or do arbitrage, the fees can quietly eat away a huge portion of your profits over time.

For smaller traders this may not seem obvious at first, but once your volume increases, the costs become very noticeable compared to several competing exchanges.

This adds to the broader issues I already experienced on Bybit P2P as a high-volume trader and advertiser across multiple major exchanges including Binance, OKX, Bitget, Gate, and Bybit itself, with cumulative trading activity exceeding 15 BTC.

The platform overall feels increasingly restrictive toward merchants and active users:

slow appeals,
frozen security deposits,
delayed support handling,
rigid automated systems,
and generic responses from support.

Even verified merchants with clean trading records can end up waiting days for simple account or deposit-related actions while capital remains locked.

Unfortunately, many other users publicly report similar concerns regarding frozen funds, delayed appeals, restrictions, and poor support responsiveness on Bybit as well. (trustpilot.com)

For an exchange heavily promoting itself to active traders, the overall trading and support experience still needs major improvement.

CRITICAL UPDATE (May 10)

CRITICAL UPDATE (May 10): Bybit's response below is deceptive. While they claim here they 'cannot provide a timeframe', their live support (Case 25129776) explicitly confirmed today that my documentation is 100% verified and complete, yet they gave me a deadline of June 7th to get an update.
They are holding 82.33 USDT with no legal grounds, providing conflicting information between platforms to stall the process. This is a systemic failure of their compliance and support departments.

My Account is restricted for more than…

My Account is restricted for more than 4 weeks now. The reason is written "deposit review" and obviously it will take another weeks to know what th ereal reason is.
I have submitted my case many times with references on the Support Hub to Bybit.com.
After more than 4 weeks my account is still restricted and I didn´t get any information for what reason.

I won't use this platform anymore.

Support Hub claims the cases to be resolved, which is not true. The case numbers are as below:
24962934,
24947895,
24936745,
24894792,
24889526
More to follow.
I can´t believe that the account and fund are restricted for so many weeks.
