just got an rog strix from asus and already issues
just got an rog strix from asus, and already experiencing hardware failures even with good treatment such as the lightbar suddenly failing, the internal keyboard constantly disconnecting while using, the GPU suddenly disconnecting, and the USB ports having too many issues such as randomly dropping power to USB ports. i tried everything to fix this and nothing worked. wouldnt recommend buying from asus and i will never buy anything from them again.
good specs but it does not last..
Screen and speed are good, but the build durability is not there. a couple of keys on the keyboard are already sticking after less than a year and the laptop gets super hot even when just watching youtube. reached out to support and they were totally unhelpful and slow to respond. expected better quality control from asus tbh.

I sent my Asus ROG 9 Phone to the repair center to replace a damaged volume control button. Everything else works fine.
They wanted to change more than 300€ for the repair, and tried the "LCD Replacement" trap which is not needed and the button volume module can be purchased on ebay for a fraction of the repair price.
Never ever touching any product of Asus.

My gaming laptop is terrible I can’t even get into my desktop anymore, it’s been saying that “my device ran into an issue we’ll restart it for you” and it’s an hour I’m sitting there and still can’t get into my laptop. Never buying asus again.

It is the worst experience I’ve ever had with any device. I bought the ASUS VivoBook (M1605YA) directly Asus Website and the camera doesn’t operate at all. My job is fully remote, and I rely on a working camera to participate in meetings, but it simply doesn’t work. I checked every setting, reinstalled the camera drivers, and followed all troubleshooting steps, yet nothing fixes it.
On top of that, the laptop is extremely slow. It performs like a 10‑year‑old PC, even when running basic tasks.
Overall, this device has been a huge disappointment and absolutely not suitable for anyone who needs reliability for work.
I recently purchased a laptop and it was worst experience
Just because Raj Shamani advertises a product, it doesn’t mean it is good. This is my genuine review.
I recently purchased an Asus Vivobook, and it has been a total waste of money. The laptop suffered from an auto-shutdown issue, so I submitted it to the service centre. After they gave me multiple completion dates, I finally received an email to collect it after 15 days. However, I immediately faced the same issue again.
Because of my bad experience at the service center, I requested an on-site visit. A technician arrived, opened the laptop, and took it away specifically for software installation; he did not identify any motherboard damage at that time. One day later, I received a message claiming the motherboard has liquid damage.
This is a false accusation. If the issue is exactly the same as before, what did they actually repair the first time? Why was the damage not diagnosed during the first 15 days or during the onsite visit? They are unable to answer these questions and have instead sent me a costly quotation for repairs."

My monitor broke down after 2 years and they wanted almost 600 euros for the repair, then they charged 59 for the budget and sent an invoice of 39... after months trying to receive the corret invoice, i still dont have it.

Your stupid Nvidia Optimus it is the worse experience I have ever deal with , I can not even play wow clasisc with almos 1500dls crahsing. All I got is a 1500dls caffe table or just watching youtube and hope it will not crash. I will never buy a product from AUSUS or Nvidia.
A Warning to UAE Consumers: Declining QC and Failed Regional Support
As a long-term user, I am providing this as a constructive critique of ASUS’s current trajectory in the UAE. Globally, ASUS has faced significant public scrutiny over declining Quality Control and component reliability. My experience with a high-end ROG Strix motherboard failure confirms these systemic issues.
A professional technical report confirmed a total hardware failure due to an inherent factory defect on the power rail. Despite clear proof that this was a manufacturer flaw and not user damage, ASUS Middle East refused to honor their responsibility, hiding behind standard warranty expiration rather than standing by their engineering integrity.
Due to this sudden hardware failure, I was forced to incur a large sum in diagnostic and data recovery costs just to secure my files and prove the defect. This is a direct financial loss caused entirely by poor product QC.
UAE Market Neglect: Your regional team is prioritizing short-term cost-saving over brand loyalty. Ignoring UAE Consumer Protection principles regarding 'hidden defects' alienates your highest-spending demographic.
The Premium Gap: Until ASUS aligns its regional customer support with the 'Premium' price tag of its ROG line, the brand remains a high-risk investment.
To UAE consumers—be aware that ASUS's 'Premium' service ends the moment the hardware fails. I am moving my business to competitors who respect consumer rights and stand behind their products.
Bought the Asus Zephyrus and worked…
Bought the Asus Zephyrus and worked superbly for 6 months. Battery started draining and started overheating causes frame loss. Warranty and support is very tedious and difficult to deal with from the official website. Next time I will just buy from a local retailer so I can get it fixed if there are any issues. Customer support team really needs training.
Very frustrating experience
Purchased a laptop directly from the asus website. It's been difficult setting it up, but I'm working on it. Tried to go to their support page, but it was in Chinese, even though everything I had filled out was in English. Went directly to their US website, and although it was in English, when I clicked on my account button, it went to a Chinese page. Took me over 1/2 hour, using Google's AI to get it switched over to English. Wanted to leave a review of the laptop I bought. Could not find a place to leave a review. They have a 'Rate Your Gear' promotion, but in order to do that, you have to rate the item in a RETAILER's website. I did not purchase from a retailer. It has been an extremely frustrating experience.

Laptop is literally falling apart after a year and it doesn't leave my desk and the screws are falling out and the entire computer is coming apart
Good working
Very poor service
Very poor service. We were falsely told they had tried contacting us, including claims they called after closing time, which simply wasn’t true. They also claimed not to be receiving our emails, yet only responded when it suited them. The order was delayed because they refused to ship it due to a company name being on it, despite no clear communication. For an order totalling £500, “next day delivery” clearly means nothing. Would not recommend.

₹2.5 lakh premium laptop
GPU fan issue,
Over 20 days of follow-ups, every call: "within 72 working hours we will revert" – no one ever reverted
Finally told: "No solution – spare part not available, try offline market"
If ASUS itself cannot support its own premium products, why should anyone buy them? Shameful after-sales support.
ASUS TUF Gaming A17 a bad experience !!!
Purchased an ASUS TUF Gaming A17 Model FA706IHR in Sept 2022. Worked great for 18 months then certain keys on the keyboard ceased to function. Very complex process to replace keyboard contacted ASUS repair they quoted £198 to replace !!! so I purchased a small external keyboard to carry on using it. Since then over the next couple of years the Media Tek Wi-Fi adapter is no longer recognised so now to connect to broadband router via CAT6 cable. The NVIDIA GPU is now also no longer recognised so its running on AMD Radeon Integrated graphics card. Also getting frequent crashes for numerous reasons. It is now May 2026 and on top of issues already mentioned there are problems with the USB slots frequently not been recognised, occasional clock time sync issues. All in all 18 months of good service then gradually going pear shaped afterwards. Have worked in IT for a long long time and know the importance of doing all required updates so these have been done promptly when required, BIOS, drivers and software. My ASUS has been a very bad experience and I would never ever contemplate purchasing anything ASUS in the future.
Worst laptop I have ever purchased
Worst laptop I have ever purchased. Problems from almost day one. Now it just refuses to turn on. Avoid buying this laptop,
TUF Gaming Laptops are always Good Value
I've been a loyal customer of Asus for many years now. I've been enjoying their TUF gaming laptops for a long time. For the high specification of the laptop, the price is always very reasonable in my view. Expansion options are always very good as well for extra SSDs or RAM. Plus, so far I have never had to contact their support team, which for me is a pretty good indicator.
Asus Vivobook
This is a complaint about Asus Vivobook. The price was OK, but two things are extremely irritating: it's bad for typing, missing out letters or spaces, unless I type very slowly; the battery life is ridiculously short, and needs charging every day. I wouldn't buy this again, for these reasons.
