Hani made the signing process incredibly simple and stress-free. I highly recommend notarize.ca as and Hani in particular for anyone looking for reliable and convenient commissioning services!

Extremely disappointed with Notarize.ca (owned by Downtown Notary) and their notaries. The notary on the platform instructed us in writing to mail original documents via Canada Post while explicitly warning against using the 'Signature on Receipt' option in bold letters. As a result, our original signed Wills were permanently lost in transit. We've spent countless hours contacting financial and government agencies to place a potential fraud alert on our accounts. We've reported this to various regulatory agencies and filed a complaint with the Law Society. Meanwhile, not only are we at increased risk for fraud, our wills will have to be redone at an added expense. They have refused to refund our money. Steer clear!
ETA - Notarize.ca has responded to our review. This company continues to push the blame onto Canada Post. It was their negligent mailing instructions that led to the loss of our personal information. They claim that they've reviewed and changed their practices - great, but what about us??They have provided a partial refund which is nowhere near enough to make up for the harm caused or to cover the hundreds of dollars to draft new wills. Continue to STEER CLEAR!

The notary (Timothy) was very helpful, patient and efficient. We were done after 15 mins. Actually the whole experience from taking the appointment until receiving the notarized document was extremely smooth.

The service is convenient and quick. In our case however, the documents came with our Province of residence miss spelled forcing us to get them reissued. Luckily, this was discovered before we submitted them to the court.

I believe a notary should understand and explain what is needed in every situation. One form needed to be signed in person not digitally, so it was rejected. I also didn't have everything else required to register the car with Service Ontario. Notarize.ca should inform their customers so they are perfectly prepared if they actually are educated in law practices.
I had been trying to get a document notarized from a different company, and we went back and forth about 10 emails. It was a different experience all together with notarize.ca. It was all done in one shot. They answered all my questions, and I would highly recommend using them!
