I’m an experienced attorney who funded my 4LegalLeads account with approximately $1,000 based on the company’s promises of “exclusive, real‑time leads,” quality guarantees, and a pro‑rated refund on unused funds.
Months later, I have very little to show for that investment.
On paper, 4LegalLeads promotes itself as a flexible, pay‑per‑lead platform with strong customer service and protections for attorneys.
In practice, my experience has been:
Long stretches with no meaningful leads, despite funded balance and appropriate targeting settings in my practice area and geography.
Leads that are technically “valid” under their rules but economically useless: individuals who never call back, have no ability to pay, or simply do not follow through in any way. There is no refund for these, even though they are functionally non‑opportunities for a law firm.
A refund/return policy focused narrowly on obvious errors (wrong category, wrong jurisdiction, fake contact, duplicates), which does not address the core issue of lead quality and viability, only data correctness.
As a caveat, I'm a multimillionaire who doesn't not need the $$$ but enjoys practicing law.
EDIT ALTHOUGH THEY STATED WE WOULD CONTINUE WORKING TOGETHER, THEY ABRUPTLY CLOSED MY ACCOUNT JULY 23 2026 AND REFUNDED MY BALANCE AUGUST 4 2026 AFTER I SENT A DEMAND FOR A REFUND OF MY MONIES. THEY FLAGGED A PRIOR REVIEW AS DEFAMATORY SO IT APPEARS DESPITE THEIR CONCILIATORY TONE THEY ARE DISINGENUOUS . You have received 12 exclusive, real-time leads, and when two were determined to be invalid under our published return policy, they were promptly credited back to your account. Approximately $770 remains in your account.
Our return policy is designed to address invalid leads (such as wrong practice area, wrong location, duplicate, incorrect contact information, etc.). Like every pay-per-lead marketing platform, we cannot guarantee that every valid prospective client will hire an attorney, return a phone call, or ultimately have the financial ability to retain counsel. Those factors are outside the control of any lead generation company.
We also note that lead statuses have not been consistently updated in your account, which limits our ability to analyze results and provide optimization recommendations.
Following our previous conversation, we understood many of your concerns had been addressed. Since then, we have not received any emails or calls requesting additional assistance before your review was updated.

Once upon a time 4LEGALLEADS was a reliable source for receiving quality leads. However starting in 2026 either demand has gotten to large or their greed factor has seriously sacrificed quality leads. More so now than ever before the leads take much longer to get delivered. When the leads are finally delivered they're seriously not a legitimate lead. (See below) I received this actual lead which was basically a domestic dispute. I requested a refund and I was denied. Judge for yourself:
