Surprise additional lawyer costs
It was easy enough to complete, but Willful made it sound that no lawyers would be required, yet I just found out after printing that we need to pay a lawyer in Manitoba to complete an Affidavit of Execution for the Power of Attorney documents. We were not expecting that.

For the Will, specifically, you won't need a lawyer or a notary.
Because these requirements can vary based on individual circumstances and local regulations, third-party legal or notary fees aren't included in our package prices.

I have been putting off creating a…
I have been putting off creating a will for years..and finally i decided it was time. So...my friends had used Willful to make their will and i finally decided to do it. I had no idea how easy it was to create, i filled out the answers to the questions and in 20 minutes the will was created, ready to be witnessed, dated, signed!!!! It was wonderful and i took it to AMA the next morning and had the whole thing signed, sealed, and tucked away. Willful made everything so easy for me and i recommend Willful to anyone procrastinating on doing a will.....Willful was the perfect vehicle for me to use to create my will. Now..it is off my mind and i can concentrate on enjoying my family more!!! Knowing that my will is complete! I recommend them to anyone thinking of doing their will.

However, you can rest assured that our documents are created in collaboration with legal professionals across Canada to ensure they meet all legal requirements once properly signed and witnessed.
Just as a quick note for your next steps: in Canada, a will actually does not need to be notarized to be legally binding! To make a conventional will legal, it simply needs to be printed and signed in ink by you in the physical presence of two eligible witnesses (who must also sign the document).

Making a will is a major life event…
Making a will is a major life event ,but my experience here felt like an assembly line. I was giving 30 minutes because the agent kept rushing to get to her next call. Even after explaining that I am 65 year old and not a tech-savvy ,the pressure continued to the point where I told her she was scaring me. With $359k at stake .I expected a premium, compassionate service. I did not get that here.
