My experience with Watchfinder was unfortunately disappointing throughout and, in my view, far from professional.

The problems started with the communication. I was told that a member of staff would contact me, but nobody did. Even after I called myself to follow up, I was again promised that someone would get back to me. Once again, nothing happened.

The transport of my watch to Watchfinder then took around three weeks.

I was later informed that the watch could not be purchased because the serial number on the watch itself was only partially visible. It is true that the full serial number is not completely legible on the watch. However, the complete serial number is clearly documented on both the original purchase receipt and the warranty card, and both documents were provided.

What was particularly frustrating was that, even after I was informed that the watch could not be purchased, the person responsible did not contact me for another week. Several of my emails also remained unanswered. I repeatedly had to follow up myself simply to receive any information.

When I finally received the watch back, I also noticed that the watch box had been slightly damaged.

When dealing with a company that handles high value and luxury watches, I expect reliable communication, careful handling of customers' property and a professional process. Unfortunately, this was not my experience.

The entire process was unnecessarily long, frustrating and characterised by poor communication. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Watchfinder for selling a high value watch.

Very good experience with the Geneva office of Watchfinder. They responded swiftly and made sure I got the watch in time. Always friendly and knowledgeable. Was a pleasure working with them. I did not give five stars because of the non responsiveness of their Zürich office. Despite several calls and voicemails, nobody cared to call back. It was then when I decided to contact Geneva for my online purchase.

The watch was as described, but a few days after purchase it stopped working for no reason. I contacted Watchfinder's after-sales service but received no response, so I contacted them again this morning... hope springs eternal.

I contacted the manufacturer's official customer service department and they got back to me within minutes of sending the email... incredible, but sometimes it happens! Not with Watchfinder, unfortunately.
