Great app/website however...

I really love this website for my crochet projects however it can get annoying when I can't download or print the pattern for use at school where the wifi blocks any of the patterns but I can screenshot the patterns so its not all bad :)

Don't Waste Your Time.

This will be the last pattern I will buy from them. I like to print out my patterns so I can check off my rows and then put it in my pattern books so I can have for future reference. It saves me time from having to search random websites looking for the pattern I purchased. You were totally blocked from printing it out or even downloading it. I opened the pattern on my computer and did a snapshot of the pattern and the instructions I needed. If I purchase a pattern then I should be able to download and print it. I understand not publishing it online because it's not yours unless you tag the original creator and give them kudos. Don't sell your patterns if you are so worried about that.

Ribblr really isn't that bad from a beginner

As a beginner crochet artist Ribblr.com was my first look into patterns and so far it's been great!

I understand people's frustrations over not being able to download the patterns, I personally haven't had an experience where I needed to download a PDF yet since they have a very intuitive pattern journal

I do find that a lot of the wearables are very repetitive, such as the large amounts of 'cat' beanies which are essentially just a single crocheted rectangle but that's not a downfall of the website itself

Speaking of the website navigation I tend to find it very comfortable and easy to find everything! It all depends on what you're more comfortable with, there's some glitches on the website where when you click on a pattern you intend to buy them the picture of it will disappear and you'll have to refresh for it to reappear which is a problem imo

can't downlaod

You can't download the patterns, making it completely useless for travel, or if you don't own a laptop or a tablet. I regret buying patternns here and would never have done it if I knew.

If you like sitting in frnt of your computer while working with yarn however this is for you!

Don’t buy patterns from this site as…

Don’t buy patterns from this site as they don’t allow you to download and print the pattern. The pattern remains online. They’ve set the website up and expect you to use a device to read each line of the pattern as you’re working. I guess they don’t worry about battery usage or that you need to use devices for other things like phone calls etc. It’s very impractical and I’ve just wasted money buying a pattern I can’t give to my daughter for her to make.

Knitters/crocheters beware.

Beware of making a payment to this company if you are trying to buy a pattern to download. Their knitting/crochet patterns are not available for download. You have to have a Masters' Degree in computer technology so that you can 'interact' with the pattern on whichever technical device you have. For 'old school' knitters/crocheters the most important thing is the pattern, not the 'interaction' and talking about it. Their website is very difficult to understand and find out anything. That is my opinion, but some of their reviews agree with me. So I hope the designer will make good use of the £4 I paid for the pattern. I prefer to continue knitting my cardigan rather than get frustrated at trying to recover the money.
