While my body doesn’t like dairy, my mouth sure does! And, I like breathing, so regular dairy products are OUT! Yet…. Cheeese… Yay for Rebel Cheese!

My handicapped sister has the same dairy impact on her breathing. She’s in a care facility, so Rebel is a special treat for her. Also, my 88 year-old Mom gets high cholesterol, so as she steals my cheeses on a regular basis, I order for her as well. Mother Darling stealing my cheese might be one of the reasons my husband and I are traveling the United States in our RV. (Haha)

As we are often Boondocking in our RV, we are not often near stores that carry anything dairy free. As we truly enjoy small towns as well, I have the same challenge there. So now, in our RV residential fridge, I carry a freezer drawer full of the freezable Rebel Cheese! I also have a good portion of a shelf of cheese like the brie cheese, that do not freeze well. (Absolutely delicious with a spiced pear jam!)

For my Mom and Sister, I order their Rebel Cheese. Recently, one late night I ordered cheese for myself, and an order for my mother. In checkout, I had picked the option to choose a date for my SD mailbox delivery. We were currently in Wyoming and would be in South Dakota after a certain date. (Mom is in her own home, so I didn’t need to worry about her delivery.)

Not thinking, I backed out of the checkout process because I had forgotten to add one cheese. When I returned to checkout, I didn’t realize the date choice was no longer there.

Imagine my shock, later, when I received an email notification that my cheese was being delivered before we arrived in SD! Immediately I wrote Customer Service, and asked if they could help me. I didn’t know why the delivery date was 3 days early, as I had picked the date of our arrival in town.

Luis, their customer support (CS) representative, was amazing! He offered to completely refund the order, even though it turned out it had been my fault, not Rebel Cheese! I was completely gobsmacked!! Delicious cheese AND great CS?

My husband and I figured drove two longer days to arrive right before our mailbox location closed on Friday in SD.
The very COLD box had been there for two days, but was still partially cold! We did end up losing about four cheeses, but I wrote Luis to let him know there was no need to refund the order, because we managed to arrive in time! Luis asked if we had been able to save all the cheese ,and I said no, there were four that I wasn’t going to trust as they’d been warm. Bless his heart, he sent reward credit for those four cheeses! For future use on any of their products when I was ready to order again.

I made sure Luis knew that my Mom, Sister and I loved the cheeses so much, and how grateful i was for his - aka Rebel Cheese’s, great customer service!!

Two weeks later, we went shopping in Rapid City, SD, and found a natural foods company; BreadRoot Co-op. There I met the person who placed orders for their cheeses, followed by a lovely conversation. I was willing to bring in some of my own, unopened, Rebel Cheese to share, so they could understand why they should stock delicious Rebel Cheese! I need to protect the supply!!

Right around this time Rebel Cheese had come out with a really good mozzarella, and I was, for the FIRST time in many years, able to make a Hawaiian pizza with great cheese, and it didn’t hurt my lungs!

Again, I messaged Luis at CS, as I had just placed another order. As a gift Rebel Cheese added a Balsamic walnut & fig fromage, but I’m allergic to walnuts, so it shouldn’t be wasted. (Husband is a die hard Tillamook fan)
Also, I told Luis about meeting Green at BreadRoot while shopping, and he knew of Rebel Cheese but had never tried it, so I was willing to bring some of my own cheese to share with them.If allowed.
Luis advised he would send Green‘s contact info over to the wholesale dept, with a note of my referral of BreadRoot to Rebel.

Also, I requested his supervisors email, so I could deliver Luis’ kudos recommendation. Supervisor Bryan responded, and was really great! They think the world of Luis, but he’d make sure the two owners of Rebel would see my glowing review of Luis. Yay! Rewards for great employees is a joy.

Now, back to the cheese! Mom, my sister and I are huge fans of strawberry basil, as it tastes like a dessert. Not too sweet, but nicely tangy. The honey pistachio is another huge hit, as is the tomato herb fromage, which tastes like pizza! Brie, hatch cheddar..

Yes, they aren’t dairy, but are exceptionally well made. The only challenge for them is to be kept chilled for their best flavor. That is something to remember when sharing your cheese with friends or at a potluck. Make sure they are on a chilled base, or don’t get too warm.

Their vegan bacon spread is DELISH and I don’t like vegan meat!
I sure hope they’ll keep cream cheese, mozzarella, etc available!
Rebel Cheese ROCKS and has heart!!

It’s a delicious, nutritious product. I recommend it to anyone who can afford it.

It’s just too expensive for us. As much as we’d like to be rebel cheese regulars, we can’t afford it.

I’ve been ordering from this company for almost 2 years. Best decision I ever made. I’m not even vegan, but I don’t do dairy. My husband is 1000% carnivore. He loves, loves, loves their cheeses. We love their dips. We love their spreads. We love the hard cheeses and we love the soft cheeses. We’ve tried probably everything they’ve put out at least once. Love the new flavor combos as much their established products.
I swear these people put truffle any of their cheeses and I’m buying it.
Quality is excellent. Sometimes it can take a little bit to ship, but we never stress out about it. Their customer service is always responsive and resolves issues quickly.

This is fantastic cheese and sausage. Not the first time I ordered, each time is great. Perfect snack with cheese, sausage, and crackers (Apple optional).

Their cheese is delicious. The soft cheeses are all amazing. Plus you can freeze them and they taste exactly the same after thawing them! We got a couple of variety boxes and there was too much to get through so we froze some. It’s amazing that the other vegan cheese makers haven’t figured out how to do what Rebel Cheese does. It is truly a superior product.

Being a vegan I was thrilled to try this cheese. I was very happy I did. I have enjoyed many of the different flavors. I have been ordering from Rebel for about 2 yrs. It is wonderful to eat something healthy. I would never want another being to suffer for my enjoyment.

Rebel Cheese is top notch and they keep getting better! We have loved the pepper jack from day one, but now the truffle pecorino has moved to first place and no one has a clue it isn’t actual dairy. The pimento dip is REALLY delicious. The mozzerella is crazy-good. The ordering process is easy and the delivery happens with plenty of communication. These products are SO GOOD! Treat yourself and keep things kind!

I decided to try Rebelcheese on a friend’s recommendation. I am not vegan, vegetarian or allergic to any foods but decided to try it anyway. WOW!! I am so totally impressed with what the cheeses taste like. My favorite is the sun-dried tomato. I would highly recommend at least trying them. You’d be surprised. The only drawback is the life-shelf. If you buy too many for a small group of people, they could go bad early. Although I have never experienced this, I am reluctant to try as there are different ingredients that I am not familiar with the actual longevity of them.

Fast delivery, we got to try a few new cheeses; the mozzarella and the cream cheese. We liked them both especially the cream cheese! Of course the Brie is always a favorite. All in all we love serving these great cheeses to our non vegan friends as they are shocked it’s vegan.

Rebel Cheese is fantastic! We ordered several create the ultimate spread to celebrate our friend who is dairy free. She was floored by the textures and flavors, especially the Parmesan! My fave is the Tomato Herb...it's dangerously craveable. Great quality, love the packaging, and super easy to order.

Rebel cheese is unique and in my opinion the best tasting plant based cheese on the market. The product is consistent. Customer service excellent. No issues with shipping. Love the videos on how to pair the individual cheese and look forward to all new products.

This is a real game changer for anyone on the fence about going plant based. It’s always the dairy that is the highest hurdle. Rebel has eliminated that hurdle with their huge variety of cheeses. It’s been over a decade since we had any dairy, and it hasn’t always been easy. Thanks Rebel!

Never again! This company does not stand behind their products! We ordered a Spring Picnic box. 1 cheese had expired 4 months prior to our order, I cheese was expiring within 2 weeks of receiving the box. Only 3 of the 5 cheeses were safely edible. When I emailed the company they said it wasn't their cheese and they were not obligated to compensate us. I call BS! That's no way to run a business. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

Rebel cheese is BETTER than dairy cheese. My only problem is it’s so hard to not eat every bit of it too fast and I would love to see it in New Mexico stores!

Everything from Rebel has been perfect through multiple orders both to my address and sent elsewhere as gifts.

Fantastic vegan cheese, shipping, packaging and customer service!

Rebel cheese is really delicious vegan cheese product. Yes, it exists. Ordering is easy. Cheese was what I missed the most, I love cheese. I have some faves, but all have been good. Customer service is great, deliveries have been issue free other than one shipment had a minor issue that was corrected immediately. Support this great business its amazing !

This cheese is the BEST! I served it at a party and people were shocked to learn it was vegan, after they vacuumed it all up (I had to get extra crackers!). I especially love the Brie, but they're all delicious.

Absolutely phenomenal and worth every penny. These cheeses are pretty strong, so I personally find they're actually double the volume for the price paid since I can enjoy a 0.5oz serving comfortably. Any more and I'm right in the ditch of addiction, ha! They're that good!! I have successfully frozen and thawed several, except the brie (as advised). I froze a half a wheel of brie before reading they don't recommend it, and learned why-- it kept releasing liquid for days in the fridge. The taste was still superb, but the texture wasn't as ideal, so it worked well as a spread in sandwiches and mixed into other dishes. I'm really excited that they're going to be available in stores soon! I hope Rebel continues to succeed!!

I got a sampler and every cheese was so good. Even tricked some non vegans!
I used some for entertaining and some for quick meals on the couch with cheese and crackers and other fun fixings. So satisfying and the quality is excellent. Lots of flavors to choose from and fast shipping. Highly recommend! Rebel gave me back something I truly enjoy. Thank you!
