Many friends and family have Plymouth Rock for auto insurance here in NJ. When my financial advisor told me he made the switch too, I set aside 3 hours on a Saturday morning expecting a frustrating morning. But their rep was so efficient and knew every answer to my questions. Was able to switch from my (30+) year insurer to Plymouth Rock in less than 1 hour. 5 Drivers, 7 vehicles with different coverages. I saved $4,000 annually. I also love their mobile app. Easy to navigate and easy to modify coverage. Very happy customer.

Agents worked with us to make sure we had the best price, they got the necessary paperwork to the dealer quickly and they ensured our policy with our other agency was canceled. We are paying for 4 cars what we had been paying for 3 cars with another company .

I am extremely disappointed with Plymouth Rock Insurance Company.
I was dropped because of moss on my outdoor shed, and I was not given an opportunity to address or correct the issue. There exact words were, "ANY REMEDITION OF THE CONDITION CITED DOES NOT ALTER THE INELIGIBLE STATUS OF THE PROPERTY. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT REPAIRS FOR REINSTATEMENT CONSIDERATION".
I understand that insurance companies have underwriting requirements, but I believe customers should be given a reasonable chance to resolve a minor maintenance concern before such a serious decision is made.
As a recent widow, the lack of communication and opportunity to fix the problem was frustrating and left me feeling unfairly treated.
I expected better communication and a more reasonable approach. Based on this experience I would not recommend Plymouth Rock to other homeowners.

I got a fantastic rate, i got a call from luis after i was playing wirh online quote the night beofre and everything was a breze, wish i had switched last year and didn't give geico all that extra money for state minimum. I already told my brother to switch but unfortunately he just renewed his 6 month like a week ago and even he couldn't believe the rate i got as a relatively new driver and living in Boston.
