Peninsula Australia (formerly Employsure) has been providing professional services to small and medium sized businesses across Australia since 2012. We started small ourselves, so, although we've grown over the years, our values remain the same. We know the challenges Australian small businesses face and the ongoing support they need because we are still a small business at heart. Today our services go beyond HR and employment relations to cover health and safety management, compliance, legal representation for workplace claims, and much more besides. Whatever we do, the service is always provided by a handpicked team of experts, so you can be sure you're getting the best from the best.

We would not recommend Employsure / Peninsula AU at all **BUYER BEWARE**
I would not recommend Employsure based on our experience. Unfortunately, we feel that the service has been extremely disappointing.
We entered into a five-year contract in 2022 with Employsure that has now switched to Peninsula AU after an initial face to face sales meeting followed by a Zoom meeting, expecting Employsure to provide HR support and practical HR guidance as required.
After spending just over $80k in almost 5 years ($1490 per month) we needed their support last week (first time we have called on Employsure to assist in a difficult matter) and have just been informed that they will refer us to their employment lawyer at an additional cost as we had not contacted them first when we dismissed a staff member and therefore they could not guarantee a favourable outcome.
When we are paying for an HR service, we expect HR support as we were told during the initial sales pitch at the start of the contract. However when you drill down to the services they really only offer what you can do yourself with Google searches.
A lot of the communication seems to focus on checking compliance yourself, but when you actually need support with a difficult staff situation, the assistance is very limited and they do not want to know about it unless they were directly involved.
The $80k+ already spent on Employsure was a TOTAL COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY and did not live up to anywhere near the hype provided in their sales pitch.
We would not recommend Employsure / Peninsula AU to other business owners and your best bet is to engage a local employment lawyer ad-hoc when required.
Cecilia Nguyen has been really helpful throughout some difficult decisions. Pleasure to discuss with.

Barry Whiting's clear advice simplified the process involved in what has previously proven to be cumbersome and overwhelming. The site inspection and follow up documentation was tailored specifically to our business and facility.

the most helpful part is the part of being understanding and non judgmental in order to achieve outcome even though these are minor issues they have a flow on effect thought the workplace and is helping achieve the outcome helps keep work flow without discomfort other staff members being neutral also helps

I called needing answers for just one question. They were polite, knowledgable, and were happy to give the information without trying to funnel me into their paid services.
I truly appreciated the service and highly recommend, I can only imagine how great their professional paid service is. If I need to use a company for this service in the future, they will definitely have my business.

So far the service has been great, I completed by Review meeting with Scott and he asked all the necessary questions to understand my business and later on in the day we had another call to go over the documents and where to find them.
Very clear instructions and good start to the relationship, looking forward to having HR support for myself and my team as we grow.

Great experience overall. The team who assisted us from providing various suitable dates for multiple locations, through to the team who assisted on the day. The trainers were professional and knowledgeable, and able to communicate to the various team members at the training session. The session catered to the needs of the specific participants and their roles; it was a collaborative and engaging session where participants felt comfortable to share their thoughts also. Fantastic experience.
