Made moving my tax life to Portugal genuinely easy
I've worked with Step Inside Portugal over the past year for my company incorporation, my IFICI (NHR 2.0) application and my 2025 Portuguese tax return, and the experience has been excellent throughout. My IFICI was approved and they handled the whole process without me having to chase anything.
What stands out most is the quality of the answers. I ask a lot of detailed questions, including a few where I'd received conflicting advice elsewhere, and Ana and Manuel always came back with clear, well reasoned explanations rather than vague reassurance. They also proactively flagged things I would have missed and coordinated directly with my accountant.
Responsive, thorough and easy to deal with. I've already referred several friends to them, which says enough.

Reliable, competent and kind professionals
I have been living in Portugal for 10 years now and have a pretty good notion of how things work here. Bureaucracy, slow pace, never-ending processes, general feeling of futility, incompetence and feeling you can never rely on anyone 100% is something I struggle with. Ana & Manuel changed my perspective 180 degrees! Ana was recommended to me by a mutual friend and from the very beginning I had the feeling I can rely on her and her expertise. Best tax advice after spending a fortune on other "experts"
I had met with several tax experts and they all provided different advice confusing me. One cost me a huge tax bill in the previous year without sharing his assessment with me prior to submission.
A brief meeting with Step Inside clarified everything. I have found Ana at Step Inside to be extremely efficient. She explains questions clearly. I will recommend Step Inside to all my friends

They saved me about Euro 10k that another accountand failed
They know what they are doing with people not native to Portugal. My advice always seek their advice. I am glad I did. They got a 10k euros refund for two previous years.
