I was excited to buy my first home here, and the team was initially great to work with. Sadly, right before exchanging contracts, I was made redundant. I sent a message explaining my situation, but I never received a reply. I only knew they got the message because the property was put back on the market. While I understand they represent the seller, a brief message of acknowledgment or well wishes would have gone a long way. The total lack of communication at the end was very disappointing.

I spoke to Charles out of curiosity and found his approach particularly refreshing. He explained the business model in detail, and gave me honest advice. Many companies in this area give a ‘hard sell’ and offer false promises; however Charles actually did the opposite and explained why in my position other options were better.

He effectively gave me unbiased financial advice based on his experience, which I found to be very useful.

Very Happy with the overall experience I had with smooth sale. Was very hesitant at first as never used this type of model before. I sent Ollie a lot of questions and emails before using them and he was patient, whilst answering everything in detail. I then was assigned Cam and he showed great communication, whilst giving great advice.

Following previous poor experiences with aggressive sales tactics from other companies I entered into conversations with SmoothSale with high levels of anxiety around my house sale. From the moment I had my initial call with Adam, my concerns were alleviated. Adam was professional and transparent about the whole process and importantly around the timelines of who I could be expected to hear from and when. Following that initial call a combination of Ben, Mackenzie and Jack dealt with the purchase of my house and continued with the high levels of professionalism set by Adam. All three colleagues were knowledgeable and when there was an issue (my doing not theirs), dealt with it in an efficient and kind manner. I would highlight the regular and clear communication as a particular positive to SmoothSale’s service. There were no surprises throughout the entire process.
