Nieu Cabinet Doors Reviews 

There were imperfections in the finish that are fairly noticeable on one of two doors ordered, a scuff and a rough area on one edge. Unfortunately I am unable to share photos here of these imperfections .

Overall I loved working with Nieu cabinets. Tom was fantastic with helping me know how to measure and giving me suggestions. Cabinets are excellent quality. Even my contractor thought so. A few glitches and I'm not sure if it was my measurements or what. One upper and lower cabinets were about 1/2" too small so there's a gap between that and the neighboring cabinet. It's next to a trim piece so perhaps it seemed that should be smaller but other ones aren't that back to trim.
Also the company that ships the cabinets hardware/drawer slides and hinges for them shipped slides or brackets too short so my contractor luckily was able to put 2x4 in the back to make it work.
Most upsetting is my bathroom drawers were ordered in 21" but mine are 18". Looking over my drawings I never gave them the drawer depth but I wish they called me to ask because now I can't use the bathroom drawers they ordered and I paid for. Overall I would use them again but just triple check every measurement - even the DEPTH of your cabinets if ordering drawer boxes and slides.

I would absolutely recommend Nieu Cabinet Doors as an excellent company to work with. We bought replacement doors from them for our old IKEA Akurum kitchen cabinets and they nailed it. The quality of the doors is excellent. All the holes were in exactly the right places to use our existing hardware and they replaced a door that was damaged in transit with no problems at all. The team at Nieu was very helpful prior to our purchase - with multiple back/forth emails to make sure our sizing was precise. Lastly, we bought during one of Nieu's "free shipping" promotions, which made the purchase price competitive. Our kitchen looks great. Well done Nieu!

I only needed one door for a replacement dishwasher, so it was a courtesy that they accepted the order. The door was precisely on the dimensions that I specified. The white finish was a very close match for the existing cabinets. I have made cabinet doors, and this door impressed me as a fine product. The person who took my order was helpful and pleasant.

Good quality for a fair price.

It was very easy to order new doors for our older Ikea Akurum kitchen. They were very well packed on a pallet and all the holes were drilled correctly! These doors are a much better quality than the originals and fit perfectly!

The primer on these doors is awful. When I hand sanded it according to the instructions, it came off like a powder. I have painted over laminates and varnishes, and no primer has ever acted this way. I would not buy from Nieu again.

Brian, at Nieu Cabinets, was so helpful through this whole process. I did buy the sample before I purchased the doors and drawer front and liked it so much. My doors and drawers were just like the sample - stunning! My husband has started the project and the doors have gone on exactly as the old IKEA doors hinged onto the cabinets but the drawers fronts aren't so easy. Our old IKEA cabinets have a "bolt" and a rod system for the larger drawers and we can't purchase these from Nieu. Also the holes are in the wrong place. I would highly recommend Nieu cabinets but expect to get a professional to put the drawers on.

Such a great experience from beginning to end. Customer service was excellent. Cabinet doors delivered without incident, perfectly packed, no damage whatsoever. Color and finish were flawless. Holes were drilled exactly where they needed to be making installation a breeze. We were so impressed with this company and able to radically transform our kitchen at such a reasonable price, especially taking advantage of a sale! Thank you Nieu.

Shipping was problematic as the driver notified me that he had an 18 wheeler which could not navigate my streets and that it would be a curbside delivery.

How does a homeowner move a 366# pallet from the curb to the garage?

After the driver confirmed that he could not deliver he handed the load off to a local company which then delivered without notice. We simply “found the pallet in our garage”. ???

Upon inspection there was damage to the doors as the pallet had been stabbed midway with the forklift tines.

Julia promptly assured me that the damaged doors would be replaced.

I am now waiting for replacement doors which are about 4 weeks out.

This has been a fantastic experience!! The installation was done by myself. I doubted that I could do it … but it was so easy!! The new doors and drawer fronts look amazing! My kitchen has had a major upgrade. My only regret … I wish I had done it sooner.

Product is solid and well made - doors were the correct size. Your customer portal is clunky and the checkout had to be done through the phone. Also, there was no info on how to specifically install blind corner doors. How about auto e-mails with links to video and updates on your order, including blind corners? We received the wrong blind corner hinges which was very frustrating. Our contact was Tom and he was pro all the way and made things happen. If you really want the DIY customer, you need to tighten up your tech and outgoing communications.

Our 75-year old built-in bathroom cabinets were in desperate need of an upgrade, and we stumbled across Nieu during an internet search. We replaced drawers, drawer fronts, and cabinet doors along with sanding and painting the frames. I couldn't be more pleased with how they look and feel. Nieu isn't the cheapest option out there, but you get what you pay for. You have to be reasonably handy to install. Next, we're going to do the kitchen!

Excellent services and capacity to adapt the product to the project. But shipping can be ameliorated: one box for a whole kitchen !

Customer service was great and attentive. Had issues with a drawer front and they replaced it right away. Brian was excellent even when I had alot of changes to my order. Order was completed on time and packaged extremely well. I would definitely order from Nieu again.
