We are building a Canadian log house in Australia and looked for quality windows and doors with aluminium outside for easy maintenance and timber interior to match the logs. Neuffer Windows have supplied a product that has exeeded our expectations by a long way.

Neuffer Windows + Doors makes great tilt turn windows. I bought 7 , 4 single and 3 double windows. 7 windows was the number of windows that fit on a single shipping palette. Their website has a design your window app and gives pricing. The engineering salesperson finishes up with specific window questions to guarantee you'll love them. These are European so expect to have to finish the window into place. Shipping was perfect, arrived on site in showroom condition.

We found the Neuffer products to be excellent and they found products we needed for varying situations. We have great support in Florin Carbunaru who has in depth technical knowledge of their products and sales.
I would recommend Neuffer to anyone who wants a fair price on very high performance windows and doors.

I ordered 6 lift and slides costing 10k each. Each door has one sliding leaf that was improperly assembled with shims causing the closing edge to Bow. This resulted in visible gaps to the outside. What did manufacturer tell me to do? Hit it with a hammer until it’s straight. Yup, I’ve got the receipts. Looking for a lawyer in Germany now. BUYER BEWARE!

I am German and moved to the USA because of my husband. We decided to build this house in Northern Michigan. What an adventure. My very first and important condition for this endeavor was to get windows which function the same as in Germany, that means to have the tilt and turn mechanism which I am used to, but in America it is not to find. So, I researched and somehow got to the website of Neuffer in Germany. First, I thought it was an American company because they have a website in English language. Then, I discovered they are German and work with the US-market, US-customers. What a joy, something German in the USA.

We contacted them and got promptly response. From the first contact to the order of 11 double glass windows, 2 doors and a huge sliding door it took a while to make the decision to order. And of course, we were concerned about the big distance of our countries. But since we started to work together, we were always impressed by the very friendly and especially competent service and advice from Neuffer employees. We closed this deal together with Ioannis Marsellos, who works in the department for cooperation with the US and who has personal experience from construction jobs in New York. And we are so happy to have this great person on our side also for another project with a sunroom to be added in the future. He is super accommodating. We even visited the company in Stuttgart/Germany where he introduced us to the details of Neuffer windows.

- The wings open towards inside completely
- They can open in vertical and horizontal direction
- Also, they have a third position of the handle which allows to ventilate without opening the whole window.
- All windows can be opened fully.
- The frames are very solid and everything is insulated very good.
- Frames are available in almost all colors through an aluminum around them, as well as in wood.

The big sliding door we ordered is amazing. It is 12 feet wide and has only one bar in the middle, half of it, 6 feet can be opened. Everybody including ourselves and our builder who put it in is impressed about the quality and mechanism how it functions.

Two important details to consider for architects and builders in the US when you plan the windows:
- The wall structure in the US is different than in Germany. The window frames might need additional support around them.
- The size of glass opening and frame: The solid and big frame takes approximately half a foot from the glass size. So, consider a bigger size for the window to have more glass.

Again: Everybody, including our neighbors is amazed about these windows. Such a quality is nowhere to be found in the United States. Every window or door is customized in size and shape. And the prices for that quality and service are pretty compatible, even less than windows in the US. So, it is worth to pay the shipping rate from Germany to the States, which is also affordable.

From the design to transport, delivery, custom etc. we just felt comfortable and in good hands with all the support we got from Neuffer. Ioannis Marsellos, our sales person is very kind and caring and he always responded to our needs in a proper time via videocalls, simple phone calls and emails. Since the Neuffer windows are unique and the installation is different than other windows, he has given us his full attention. An exceptional service and an exceptional quality of the windows and doors we got.

The primary objective of our new-build project was to achieve optimum energy efficiency designed to keep the heat out during hot, dry summers and to keep the heat in during cold, wet winters whilst keeping energy costs down to a minimum.

This was relatively easy to achieve for the walls and roof by applying suitable insulation, in our case 300mm thick.

External doors and windows, however, presented a different problem requiring some research and guidance if the overall energy efficiency and associated cost savings of the project were to be realised.

As no local suppliers whose manufacturing processes fulfilled our requirements could be found, there was no alternative but to expand our search overseas.

This, in turn, presented a different problem in as much that we were no longer able to physically examine the product and discuss the pros and cons there and then on site. It was clear, therefore, that a degree of trust would be necessary with whichever non-local manufacturer was ultimately chosen.

Choosing a suitable supplier remotely on line is no simple task.

Quality and choice of manufacture was our first prerequisite closely followed by the availability of detailed specifications confirming our energy efficiency requirements could be met or exceeded. Consideration also had to be given to delivery schedules and, of course, overall costs.

The company that ticked all of these boxes was Neuffer Windows & Doors.

Neuffer products are expensive but understandably so due to their manufacturing processes being fully backed-up by a knowledgeable, polite and always helpful international sales team. From the outset, Ioannis Marsellos was appointed our point of contact and a good rapport was quickly established between us.

This process took several weeks due primarily to our need for clarification during which we made changes before our order was finalised.

Once an order has been placed, most companies just say thank you and immediately move on to their next customer without given you a second thought thereafter. No so with Neuffer.

Once our order had been placed, Ioannis provided full shipping arrangements and continued to monitor the transportation of our goods and customs clearance formalities followed by delivery to our site.

Having now received the goods we can confirm that our trust in Neuffer and especially Ioannis Marsellos has been fully justified and we unreservedly recommend Neuffer products to anyone and everyone!

Highest recommendation. We ordered windows and doors for our new build in April 2020 and after almost four years of having the Neuffer products I could not be more impressed. Our windows and doors must handle -30 C to +45 C in the area of western Canada where we live and their performance have exceeded my expectations. They never condensate or frost on the inside and in fact when the outer glass surface is below freezing the interior glass performance is +16C. The window and door package was more economical with delivery from Germany to western Canada than anything we could find locally and local products did not have the passive house performance.

Based on my firsthand experience as an extremely satisfied customer, I strongly suggest that anyone who is in the market for new high end tilt and turn windows takes an in depth look at Neuffer Windows + Doors. I spoke with 3 International companies and 2 domestic manufacturers before deciding on Neuffer. At first I thought the price to value ratio was unachievable, until I was introduced to their International Sales Manager, Ioannis Marsellos, and subsequently took delivery of my windows and front door. Mr. Marsellos made promises and guarantees that many Sales Managers make in order to secure the sale, but often are unable to keep. If anything, he under promised and over delivered. His attention to detail, responsiveness and overall professionalism are qualities that are hard to find and that I will always be grateful for.

I was concerned about dealing with a company on a different continent and in a different time zone, but Mr. Marsellos was literally available, often with very little notice, evenings, weekends and holidays. The quality of the windows and door were as exceptional as the direction and service I received from Mr. Marsellos, the technician and Senior Management I had the pleasure of working with, too. The windows were installed in my new home in Maine 7 months ago and the look, feel and functionality has enhanced the appearance and value greatly.
