McCabes Pharmacy group is a 100% Irish owned and operated chain of pharmacies and was founded in 1977 when Roy and Margaret McCabe returned home from Australia after emigrating 10 years earlier. They understood the need for a more complete healthcare solution, one that encompassed both traditional health care and dispensing along with new market leading services such as Cholesterol and blood pressure health checks. The group grew over the years with three of the four McCabes sisters all being involved in the business, involvement that continues to this day. McCabes Pharmacy group now operates over 30 stores nationwide and continues to be a pioneer in the Irish pharmacy market, offering the innovative products and exceptional service that Roy and Margaret founded the business on 40 years ago

If there was a zero star I would leave it. Unbelievable rude pharmacist. Outrageous. I brought a prescription in which had three things on it. When leaving I thankfully checked the bag only to see only two items in it . The reply I got was oh that’s over the counter. I said well I don’t mind but I just fend it filled. Was handed a box and I said I need a label on it with instructions, omg the pharmacist said as beyond rude. Said I should have said if I wanted that bit of prescription filled (eh I did hand you a prescription!!) anyways horrible staff v rude . If I could report her to medical council I would!
Terrible communications
Terrible communications. Can never get answer to phone calls. Long queues in shop. Staff slow and uncertain about products. Their new AI system simply doesn't work.
Do not go to McCabes in Blanchardstown…
Do not go to McCabes in Blanchardstown beside Supervalu. The staff are crass, short change their customers in terms of tablets, cannot read prescriptions correctly, hand out wrong doses & must be supported in giving out correct change, as they can't count. A dreadful experience.

I was recently discharged from hospital and the nurse wrote the prescription out wrong. So when I went to the pharmacy she contacted the hospital on my behalf and was able to get the prescription amended for me I am very grateful for the service. I will give them 5 stars all day. Brilliant service 👏

Mc Cabes in Baltiglass co Wicklow don't seem to like people with medical cards especially if it's from a dentist or a hospital..They frequently tell people that it's not a proper prescription or that it's out of date. They will however still give you the drugs if you pay the full amount for them and not the standard few quid with the medical card
McCabes SuperValu Knocklyon
I ordered a prescription from SuperValu in Knocklyon. They took my phone number and told me that they’d ring me when it was ready. I hadn’t gotten a phone call by the following day. They couldn’t find any record of my order. The upshot was they’d put my medicine in a bag for collection by a different customer with the same name as me. Absolutely disgraceful. If I hadn’t called in to chase things up myself someone else would have gotten my medication.

Ordered silcocks base online and what i thought was the 500g tubs as shown in the product image but it was actually only 100g tubes they were selling. Yes the product description stated 100g but I didn't notice that, only the product image and the price which is similar to what I usually pay for 500g. Absolutely no joy from customer service only to state that the product image is only for reference. Will not be purchasing from them again
I saw a special offer on this website…
I saw a special offer on this website for Revive active 30 days sachets with a free 15 day pack of Omega active capsules. It was a good saving as i usually buy both. I ordered 2 boxes, paid and delivery was advertised for 2 business days. Got an email after 2 days to say it wohld be delayed. Faif enough, but then gkt an e mail to zay it was a wrong booking on their site, and could not fulfill the order. Then another email to say that the order was out for delivery with different samples. No offer of a refund. I emailed them to ask if it was a venuine offer, i only wanted the komega active. No reply.Today I received 2 boxes of Revive i ordered and 8 days sachets of tropical flavour we dont like. Not a huge big deal but very poor customer service. Disappointed as they have some good offers.
Anne.

So where do you start. I have decided to remove all of my business from this company. Continuous horrendous experiences. App is a disaster. Worst customer service ever

Ripped me off
Hi
I ordered Face masks 52e online 9th of May . So I got them on the 12th of may
So when I open the box wasn't the ones I ordered. I got ones which are less then 5e a box of 50s. Which I saw online myself. So I emailed them saying you gave me wrong face masks and I got ones for 5e a box which I could have getting myself which other company. So I got email saying they are looking into it yesterday.
Which am no interest in there reply.in my opinion they ripped me off .Good to learn about this mccabes pharmacy con artist.
Impossible to get through to on the…
Impossible to get through to on the phone. It seems strange with the amount of staff in the shop. When you call you are just put on hold and the call is never answered, it’s like they have the phones turned off.
Don’t always receive a text to say prescription is ready, this seems to only happen some of the time.
Just seems to be a poor service over all.
-100/10
-100/10. Pathetic customer service . Please do not order anything from their online platform they just take your money and never deliver your product. I have sent them multiple emails regarding my order, I received only AI response, however no actual response. I ordered led face mask through mccabes pharmacy online march 27 , toady is april 14 still its been not delivered. The website says we are preparing your order and how does a mask take 2 weeks to prepare. If you don't have a stock , say out of stock on your website. Don't fool your customers.
Tallaght Village McCabes Pharmacy -0 Stars Be Careful...
Be very aware that this chemist in Tallaght village Dublin 24 is very unfair to the customers prior to their own technical errors and making me pay twice because of their faulty till and the manager promising refund and still no money back or any effort,
I even after sending a online contact message on their website i was ignored with a bot reply and nothing more, so they took the extra payment and looks like I will never see that money again, also the manager has no technical awareness and was lost and not very nice to me either and made feel uneasy, I now should have refused to pay the second time, because anyone who uses Revolut knows where you get instant notification of payment that means payment has gone through,
I was made to feel uneasy and had to pay twice... NEVER again will i step into that store again, so be very aware their after care for customers with regarding refunds or service info is beyond awful... most definitely the worst chemist branch in Dublin by a long way. Do Not Entertain this McCabes Pharmacy with your business...

Service deterioration since rebranding of lloyds to McCabes
Since the rebranding of the existing lloyds pharmacies to McCabes, the failures of the technology employed has seen a marked deterioration in the efficiency of the delivery of required, sometimes urgent, medication. The staff have remained the same, friendly, professional, efficient people that we have come to appreciate over the years, but they have become increasingly frustrated by the failures of the support systems employed since the rebranding and we are seeing them disappear one by one.
Stay away from mccabes clarehall
Stay away from mccabes clarehall. It is a constant mess here. Nobody takes ownership of mistakes, will miss label and give you incorrect medication, blame you for it. Take ages to fill prescriptions, if they can find it (after they lose it) when you question where it is, every staff member will get involved, be shouting personal info accross the shop, the manager will shout at you to calm down (even though you dont raise your voice) when head office is contacted to complain. They get the store manager to call you, (yeah the one that is shouting at you in store that you wanted to complain about) and when you go back to head office, then they blame everyone but themselves for the mishap. Area manager been in touch 'investigated' without looking back on cameras etc and basically agreed the service is brutal, customer service abysmal but no apologies for being treated like a second class citizen in their store. Stay away. Give your money to a chemist chain that actually cares about customers and not covering their own misgivings and lack of ability to do their job correctly.

Every experience with both the Woodstown and Knocklyon branch’s have resulted incorrect information being provided or the incorrect prescription given. If you are thinking about going I steer clear 100% and save yourself the hassle
