Disappointed With Magic Motorsport – Long-Term Customer Asking for a Fair Solution
I’m writing this review because I genuinely hope someone from Magic Motorsport management will read it and take a serious look at my situation.
I have been a loyal FLEX customer since 2011 and have renewed my subscription every year. I have invested heavily in the FLEX platform and already own almost all of the protocols relevant to my automotive business.
My concern is the current situation with the MD1/MG1 unlock.
To obtain this functionality, I am being asked to purchase additional protocols for Trucks and Bikes that I have never used, do not need, and have no intention of using.
I simply cannot understand why a loyal customer who already owns the relevant car protocols should have to spend thousands of dollars on completely unrelated protocols just to receive an update that is directly connected to the platform he already invested in.
In my case, the additional cost could be around $4,000, including the missing protocols and subscription renewal.
I have supported Magic Motorsport for years because I believed in the company and its products. I also waited since 2021 for the MD1/MG1 developments and continued renewing my subscription during that time.
Today, competitors are offering MD1/MG1 functionality without requiring customers to purchase large packages of unrelated protocols. This makes the current FLEX policy particularly difficult to understand and very disappointing for long-term customers.
I am not asking Magic Motorsport for something unreasonable or for free hardware. I am asking for a fair solution for existing loyal customers.
For example, I hope Magic Motorsport can consider offering the MD1/MG1 unlock to customers who already own the relevant car protocols, without forcing them to purchase Truck/Bike protocols they will never use.
I genuinely prefer to stay with FLEX. I have already invested years into the platform, and I would rather continue working with Magic Motorsport than move to another tool.
Magic Motorsport management — please review this case personally and give long-term customers a reasonable option.
I am confident that if you find a fair solution, I will be happy to update this review and share my positive experience.
I hope this review starts a conversation rather than ends one. I’m still giving Magic Motorsport the opportunity to make this right.

We understand why the current licensing structure can be frustrating when your daily work is focused on automotive applications and you already own most of the protocols relevant to your business.
The new MD1/MG1 solutions are the result of significant technological development and, in some cases, require specific license configurations that go beyond the protocols previously owned. This structure is based on the technology and development behind these new solutions, not on the intention of forcing customers to purchase protocols they do not need.
At the same time, we understand your point regarding long-term customers who have continuously invested in FLEX and maintained an active subscription. Your feedback is legitimate and will be shared with the relevant team for consideration.
We also appreciate that, despite your disappointment, you would prefer to continue working with FLEX. We hope we can continue earning that trust through the development of the platform and the solutions we provide.

wHILE THE SOLUTIONS ARE GREAT, THE REGISTRATION , PAYMENT AND ALL THE PROCESES ARE BAD. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE. SORRY TO SAY THOSE WORDS, BUT I WAS ASKING FOR A REFUND FOR NOT WORKING ACCOUNT AND NOTHING HAPPENED. THE STUFF TOLD ME TO ACTIVATE IT. WHY? THE SUBSCRIPTION PAYMENT SHOULD ACTIVATE IT RIGHT AWAY. PLEASE I STILL WANT MY REFUND BECAUSE I DID NOT USE THE SYSTEM AND I FOUND IT DOUNTING AND BADLY IMPLEMENTED. SORRY BOGDAN! WITH ALL THE RESPECT THAT WAS MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE FILE SERVICE SYSTEM.

One suggestion: the software area looks a little too commercial, more like an e-commerce website, with purchase links and similar options.
Also, the slave file decoding process takes quite a lot of time. It would be great if you could create a dedicated slave file encryption portal with a simple drag-and-drop option. As far as I know, other tools don’t charge separately for a slave encoding portal.
Just a suggestion.
Apart from that, the tool and customer support are really good.

The suuport cant answer on all the questions, badly talk
The support can't answer on all the questions. They can't promise any days. Support sometimes have no idea what are they talking and giving wrong instructions. If you ask them for refund they have "mouth full of water".... its so bad, i didn't expected that from MM. Here you can apologise, why you cant do it over the Support chat.
