Sorry to hear that it took longer than expected to receive your GeniusCash.
We deliver GeniusCash to most customers within 30 days of their application date by automatically receiving confirmation from the bank that the application for the account has been approved and that it meets all the eligibility criteria for GeniusCash.
Sometimes we don't receive this confirmation from the bank automatically and manual investigation is required. There are various things that the bank needs to validate such as approval status, that you're a first time applicant for the account, that the application was started from our site, etc. Unfortunately, the manual investigation time does depend on the GeniusCash partner and it is outside of our control.
Just checked on our end, and according to Interac, the e-transfer for the Chefs Plate offer was successfully sent on 2025-10-08 to the email address in your payment preferences. If you have auto-deposit enabled, please check your transactions for a deposit on or after this date.

As per our Terms and Conditions, we need to receive confirmation directly from the bank that the application was approved and that it meets all the eligibility criteria for GeniusCash. For most of our customers, we receive this confirmation from the bank automatically. When we don't, a manual investigation is required, and we send the customer's information directly to the bank for a manual review.
There are various things that the bank needs to validate such as approval status, that you're a first-time account holder, that the application was started from our site, the correct information was provided, that the application isn't linked to another affiliate partner, among other eligibility criteria. So aside from being approved for the card or account, there are other application eligibility requirements that the bank considers, and there’s a variety of reasons why an application may not be eligible for GeniusCash.

So yea they are legitimate and they do payout
The downside is if things dont go well, you might have to wait for 4 weeks to open a ticket, then they forward your info to the bank/provider for they to approve/confirm
Yhe waiting is long and you have to chase them for your cashback

If the bank declines the application for GeniusCash after a manual review, we are unable to alter their decision, however, we did follow up with the bank on this ticket and received confirmation that this wasn't a first-time application, so it doesn't qualify for GeniusCash.
