This has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I have ever had.
I placed order #7322 and my package became stuck in Brazilian customs on 28 April. From that moment on, I repeatedly contacted Lumo Peptides requesting a solution.
Instead of resolving the issue, I received weeks of delays, vague responses, and repeated promises that were never fulfilled. I was even told to wait 10 more days for an update. That deadline expired, and nothing happened.
When the company finally acknowledged the situation, they offered to send a replacement. I refused because, after such an excessive delay, the products had completely lost their purpose. I requested a full refund instead.
Even obtaining the refund became another exhausting process. The company asked me to remove my Trustpilot review before I had received a single euro. They then requested my payment details, only to later claim they could not use the payment method they had originally asked for. After providing new banking information, I continued waiting with no clear timeline.
Most recently, they informed me that they had transferred EUR 219.96, despite previously confirming in writing that my full refund would be EUR 249.91. I am now forced to question why the amount has changed and whether I will actually receive the full refund they promised.
The customs delay is not the main issue. The real problem is the company’s conduct: poor communication, broken promises, failure to respect its own deadlines, constant delays, and an unnecessarily difficult refund process.
Customers should not have to chase a company for months just to recover their own money.
Until the full refund is received exactly as promised, I cannot recommend Lumo Peptides to anyone.

We're sorry to read your review, and we'd like to give other readers the full context, because some important facts are missing here.
Your order was shipped correctly and on time. It was then held by customs in Brazil from 28 April onward — a destination outside the European Union. Both before and during the process we clearly informed you that shipments outside the EU carry a real risk of being held, seized, or not delivered by local customs, and that such shipments are not insured and travel at the customer's own risk. This is also stated in our terms.
Despite that, we did not leave you on your own. We stayed in contact, we were transparent that we were partly dependent on the carrier's official investigation — which has its own timeline that we cannot speed up — and we offered you a full replacement shipment. You declined that solution and requested a refund instead.
Even though our terms state that we are not liable for parcels seized by customs outside the EU, meaning we would normally not refund anything at all in this situation, we chose to refund you the full value of the products as a gesture of goodwill.
On the amount: the products totalled €219.96, which is exactly what we refunded. The difference with €249.91 is the shipping cost of €29.95. Shipping costs are never refunded, because that money was genuinely paid by us to the carrier to send your parcel. This is standard practice and is stated in our terms.
Regarding the banking details: we asked for new details only because the original payment method could not be used for an international transfer. That was to make sure the money would actually reach you, not to delay you.
So to be clear: you have received a full refund for every product you ordered, on a shipment that was lost outside the EU at your own risk, in a situation where we were under no obligation to refund anything. We communicated, we offered a reshipment, and we refunded you in full for the goods.
