I’ve had my son enrolled since January and I can say with confidence that choosing Little Feet Montessori is the best thing we could have done for him in terms of the quality of care he receives.

My son had been home with me for 18 months, he was very attached and slow to warm so it was difficult sending him off to daycare (for us both). Shaheen recognized this and took extra time to keep me updated with how his day was going, from the second I left the daycare until the end of the day. This level of care, not just for the child, but for the families of Little Feet is something so unique that Shaheen and her staff have worked tirelessly to cultivate. Through out his transition Shaheen communicated with me regularly about his progress behaviourally and emotionally. She ensured we were all on the same page during difficult periods in his development and ensured consistency across the board.

Shaheen and the staff go above and beyond to ensure the children are well fed and get as much as they need. You can expect nutrient dense food that your child will ACTUALLY eat! Truly the level of care is unmatched. Everyone knows the transition to daycare is tough on children when it comes to illnesses but I was truly blown away at the level of care and concern Shaheen expressed when my little one had a cough or cold, giving him tea, offering advice and just generally updating me with how he’s feeling was something I didn’t know I needed.

One thing I’ve noticed since my son had started at Little Feet Montessori is his increasing level of independence and focus. He can sit for sometimes 20 minutes at a time independently reading or taking out an activity of his choice, he’s even begun putting away his toys! His language has improved immensely! We couldn’t be happier with our decision to be part of the Little Feet family!

One last anecdote, when I asked my son who he wanted to invite to his second birthday party he listed the staff and students at Little Feet. It was a heartwarming moment that made me realize he loves Little Feet as much as I do!

Our overall experience here at Little Feet Montessori School has been above excellent from the moment we were looking for a school in September of 2025 for our 2 boys Noah & Rayn. The founder Miss.Shaheen is so passionate and involved with her students/children it's truly inspiring. She goes above and beyond for my children daily in feeding them healthy nutritious meals and snacks, teaching them a cirruclum that has dramatically developed and enhanced their language, communication, literacy, socialization, play & movement skills. Miss.Shaheen and her staff are dedicated, caring, personable people that make learning fun and interesting & we are so grateful to have found this school for our children. Thank you Miss.Shaheen for making your school a second home to my boys Noah & Rayn, we appreciate all you have done for our family.

I cannot recommend Little Feet highly enough. I feel the love and care that my LO is receiving as every morning the LO tries to grab some outerwear to rush me to take her to school.

At first, it was nerve racking to send my little one off to the Montessori (or just the idea the LO will be away from home on her own). However, within a week the LO adjusted very well and is enjoying the time at the Montessori school. Thank you to all the staff and teachers involved on making the transition as smooth as possible.

My 4 year old has been attending Little Feet Montessori for a year now and the development I see in her is exceptional. From studies to the way they behave the teachers make sure to guide them every step. My daughter adores Ms. Shaheen and is always so happy to go to school. We also get regular reports and Ms. Shaheen makes sure to inform us on her appetite, her work and any updates necessary. Ms. Shaheen also takes extra step to make material for kids to have some work when they go on a long vacation. We feel secure knowing that she is in very good hands and thankful to have found Little Feet Montessori.

We are almost 11 months into sending our daughter at Little Feet. Since day one, from transitioning to settling in and then seeing our daughter grow and progress, we have been super satisfied and very grateful for the school, the teachers, and especially the owner/teacher Ms. Shaheen. Unlike other places, we were able to bring our daughter for 2-3 days before her official start at the Montessori to get her familiarized with the place. After that, all the teachers have been super involved and helped her with utmost compassion, care and personal touch in all her major milestones such as getting her to eat more independently, potty training etc. We have seen great growth in our daughter's linguistic capabilities, her focus in activities and her independence. Our second daughter is also starting Montessori with Ms. Shaheen in 2026 and we cannot be happier. Highly recommend the school, especially for its personal touch, individual and personalized attention to students and the sharp focus on Montessori styled learning.

My twins were 14 months when they started at the Little Feet Montessori school. We had tried a different daycare before starting at Little Feet and the twins were very unhappy and crying there. I was nervous to try another daycare due to the difficulty we already had with their first daycare but Shaheen was very reassuring in her approach with new students. We switched them over to Little Feet and the transition was seamless. Shaheen ensured the twins were familiar with her before their start date by meeting them twice in advance so she could interact and bond with them. On their first day at Little Feet, there were some tears but Shaheen handled it effortlessly and the twins settled very quickly. The twins quickly began to love coming to Little Feet every day. It was clear Shaheen was able to provide my twins with a caring environment that made them feel at ease which allowed them to transition so smoothly.

Not only have my twins been happy at Little Feet but they’ve learned a tremendous amount in their time there. They went from saying a few words to many words - particularly making clear what they want such as “more”, “cracker”, “apple” and started putting two words together. Their growth individually and together has been unparalleled as they have really thrived and learned how to socialize with other children, play with puzzles, sing and dance, etc.

Shaheen has been very attentive in caring for the little details with the twins, letting me know when she thinks they are teething and different ways I can help them feel better based on her experience with children. It’s been so helpful not only to have someone notice the little details but also provide you tips on things they’ve seen work over the years to assist you in providing as much comfort as possible to your children.

The twins are typically quite picky at home but when it comes to eating at Little Feet, the twins love it all. Everything Shaheen provides them is eaten and typically the twins are requesting for more (which is unheard of at home). The food is nutritious and home made, which puts me at ease to know my kids are eating healthy food.

Overall we’ve had an amazing experience at Little Feet and I would highly recommend it.

Little Feet Montessori has been such a wonderful and nurturing place for our son since he started back in May 2025. From the very beginning, Shaheen has made us feel supported and confident in our decision. Shaheen and her team are caring, patient, and so intentional in how they connect with our son. It truly feels like a partnership in his care - they take the time to share updates, offer guidance and support, and understand what our son needs to thrive.
We can see how loved our son is there - he’s confident, curious, and excited to learn every day. The growth we’ve seen in him has been incredible, both socially and developmentally. It’s hard to imagine him anywhere else now. Knowing he’s surrounded by caregivers who genuinely care and create such a warm, positive environment gives us so much comfort and peace of mind.

This is a truly wonderful school that has been such a blessing for our family. My daughter started here at just 16 months old, and now, one year later, she has blossomed into her own little person. She has learned all her colors, can count with confidence, and even knows the continents! She loves singing and is always coming home with new songs to share.

When she first started, she could only say “dadda,” but now she is speaking in full sentences, singing songs, and using her words to clearly communicate her thoughts and feelings. The growth we have seen in her language, confidence, and curiosity has been incredible.

Shaheen, the owner, and the amazing teachers provide a warm, nurturing environment where children truly thrive. They create a balance of learning and play that keeps the children excited to come every day. It’s clear they deeply care about the children’s growth, both academically and personally.

Shaheen is a very caring and experienced teacher who genuinely cares for every single child in the daycare. She prepares fresh, home-cooked meals daily, and thanks to her, my son—who used to be a picky eater—now eats twice as much!

What truly makes Shaheen unique is her nurturing approach to each child’s emotional well-being. She hugs, carries, and soothes the little ones to help them feel safe and emotionally secure at daycare. We’re so grateful to have found a place where our child is loved and supported like this.

This is a beautiful, new, small school in Newmarket with teachers dedicated to helping the students absolutely thrive. My daughter has just completed her first year at Little Feet and within this timeframe, she is already able to fully read, add/subtract big numbers and more. I am very impressed and happy to see her progress. She also met her best friend here too!

Shaheen, the owner, provides wholesome, home cooked meals for the children instead of anything processed. She has gratefully honoured all of my daughters dietary needs. We receive a menu every week of what the children will be eating and it’s so refreshing to see this because children absolutely need to be properly nourished while learning. Thank you Shaheen for this being one of your core values for the children.

My daughter has now turned 6 and we are really hoping to see more children her age enrol so that the elementary section can expand!!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Little Feet Montessori and to have Shaheen as our son’s first teacher and caregiver outside the home. From the very beginning, she welcomed our 16-month-old with such warmth, patience, and genuine care. Starting daycare is a big transition, and thanks to Shaheen, it has been nothing short of amazing.

In just two months, we’ve seen such wonderful growth in our boy. He’s learning something new every day, developing a sweet, strong and curious personality, and thriving in a nurturing environment.

He now eats so well (even vegetables!), naps peacefully, has started to dance and sing (in his own little way) and looks forward to his days surrounded by other children and most of all, Shaheen.

My toddler was 18 months when she started coming to Little feet montessori school, so she have been in this place for almost 2 months now. within a month we already noticed so much improvement in her academic progress.
Ms. Shaheen is so great to our daughter and other teachers are amazing as well. They're true caregivers who wholeheartedly love their profession. We were hesitant to place our girl in daycare, and We didn't expect our daughter to be able to stay away from us for long hours, and to adjust quickly to new environment, but little feet montessori team proved us wrong.
Our daughter was poor eater as well, but now she eats all her meals and asks for more. She loves the fresh made meals and healthy snacks.
She loves Ms Shaheen and other teachers and so do we. I could see it in her face as soon as we drive up into the parking lot she smiles, claps and makes happy sounds. I have nothing but high praise for the Little feet montessori school staff.

Choosing a Montessori daycare was a top priority for our 26 month old daughter. We were so pleased to have found Little Feet Montessori in our area. After reading the impeccable and impressive reviews, we decided to book a tour. Within the first 5min, we knew this was the place for our child. Shaheen was so engaged and motherly with our daughter. We knew and saw how safe and comfortable she felt. On her first day she walked right in, and has continued to do so ever since. We can’t speak highly enough of Little Feet Montessori and are so blessed to have our daughter be a part of it. She has learned so much in her 8 short weeks and is speaking and articulating more and more everyday. We can’t thank Shaheen and the entire staff enough, who goes above and beyond for all the children. 10/10 recommend!

From the very beginning, our experience with Shaheen, has been exceptional. She has been incredibly attentive to our needs and has gone above and beyond to ensure that we felt supported and informed every step of the way. Knowing how difficult it would be for us to make this transition, Shaheen was always available to answer questions, ease our anxieties, and reassure us that we were making the right choice for our child.

Our child began attending the Montessori at 20 months old - a tender age where routine, comfort, and familiarity mean everything. Even before the first day, Shaheen maintained open and consistent communication, which gave us a great deal of comfort. And once attendance began, she continued to provide regular, detailed updates on how the transition was going - from sleep and meals to emotional adjustment and daily activities. That ongoing connection has made all the difference for us as parents.

We had been told by family and friends to expect a long and difficult adjustment period - anywhere from two to six months. But to our amazement, our child settled in beautifully within the first month, thanks to the individual attention and care Shaheen provided. In fact, during the very first week, our child came down with a tough flu, and Shaheen went out of her way to provide extra support and gently ease the transition despite the setback. Her commitment and understanding made a world of difference.

One of our biggest concerns was naps, as our child had never napped anywhere other than at home in a personal crib. Somehow, Shaheen managed to establish a calm and familiar nap routine at school - something we never thought possible. What stands out is her ability to recognize that each child is unique. This is not a rigid daycare environment where every child must follow the exact same schedule. She takes the time to understand and support each child’s individual needs and rhythms.

Within just the first week, we started noticing developmental progress at home. Our child began solving puzzles that had previously been a challenge for months. It’s clear that the Montessori experience is not just nurturing, but also intellectually and socially enriching. Our child comes home happy, well-fed, and excited to engage - and that gives us so much peace of mind.

Shaheen frequently shares pictures or videos of our child engaged in daily activities, which brings us such reassurance and joy. Her detailed daily reports also help us stay meaningfully connected to what’s happening each day - from meals and naps to learning moments and social growth.

Shaheen’s staff are equally remarkable - every member of her team is warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in the care of the children. It’s clear that they love what they do, and the warmth they show is felt every time we arrive or leave. It’s a joy to see our child greeted with such enthusiasm and kindness each day.

Our child has always been deeply attached to us, so the fact that, within a few short weeks, there is genuine excitement to go to school, to see familiar faces, and to engage with peers speaks volumes about the loving and attentive environment Shaheen has created. That kind of trust and joy simply cannot be taught - it has to be earned through care, consistency, and love.

We are so grateful to Shaheen and her team. This Montessori has truly become a second home for our child, and we cannot recommend it highly enough.
