Orion Funded Reviews 

This company uses all kinds of excuses to avoid paying traders. They even require you to sign an NDA; otherwise, they won’t refund your challenge fee. Every time you request a payout, you get hit with a bunch of trading warnings.

What’s even worse is that when you use a discount code, you’re supposedly eligible to receive a challenge account of the same value after making a payout. However, I already contacted customer support to request it, and there has been no follow-up or resolution whatsoever.

Honestly, this is a scam company.

Orionfunded is one of the worst companies in the prop enviroment and I'm gonna explain exactly why. Within the only hope that real profitable traders (as I'm) don't lose time and money within hidden rules and denied payouts.

During Phase 1 and Phase 2 I had no problems at all. In fact when I reached funded stage I had no problems neither (while they were just taking my money). But when I got some funded profit and requested a withdraw, then magically the problems started:

1. They denied a +3.000$ payout for "excesive risk", saying that I was risking more than 1% per trade. They have clearly explained on their FAQ and rules that there's no 1% risk limit per trade, it's just a RECOMMENDATION, but they used anyway to deny the payout and forced me to sign a new contract accepting this additional restriction. Not explaning anyway into their rules and completly hidden and abusive (Attached email)
2. After complete 30-35 trades by always placing my stop loss around 0.8%, one regular trade (during NO high impact news or any reason to justify it), the trade magically had a huge slippeage and closed at -1.15% (Orion had 0 slippeage before).
I communicate it at the exactly moment it happened to make clear that I had followed the additional restrictions (their reply is attached, "we can not review it at this time").
3. I continued trading and today I've requested a 200$ payout. I got a reply within 2 minutes (they took around 72h to approve my previous payout) by saying that I breached the max risk and payout is denied and funded account breached.

I've screenshots of all the abusives restrictions and hidden rules they have applied, but my only hope is that every traders avoid to be scammed for companies like Orion Funded. They're not looking for profitable traders, just your challenge fee. So it's up to you if you wanna waste your money or work within other serious propfirms.

I really wish you the best for the world, so I hope other traders start sharing their wrong experiences with them.

Y añadiré, en cualquier empresa puede haber discordancias entre el cliente y la empresa, lo importante es lo que pasa despues de la incidencia. Y aqui ORIONFUNDED es un 10/10, sinceramente. Trato personalizado, reconocimiento, responsabilidad y claridad.

Ellos han conseguido que lo que en un momento fue algo frustrante y decepcionante, que se convierta en sentirme orgulloso de la empresa de fondeo con la que trabajo.

I ran into an issue involving a discrepancy between the trades shown on my dashboard and those in my MT5 platform, which led to a drawdown violation. Although I felt frustrated and disappointed at the time, I felt well-supported by the Orion team throughout the entire process. In fact, the Orion team reached out to me privately via WhatsApp to clarify and resolve the matter.

I would also add that disagreements can arise between a client and any company; what truly matters is how the situation is handled after the issue occurs. In this regard, ORIONFUNDED is a 10/10, honestly. They offer personalized service, accountability, transparency, and a genuine commitment to their clients.

They managed to turn a situation that was initially frustrating and disappointing into one where I now feel proud of the prop firm I work with.

A trader pays the fee to join, then puts in real effort — clears Phase One, clears Phase Two, following every single rule you set. When he finally trades on the master account and earns a modest profit of one or two thousand dollars, instead of rewarding him, you sit him down for an "interview"? What do you think this is, a government job interview panel? You're not hiring him for a Grade-20 position — you just need to release the profit he earned fairly, within your own rules. This interview process feels like nothing more than an excuse to delay payouts and discourage traders. A trader who has already passed every single one of your evaluation stages does not deserve to have his hard work and discipline questioned like this. This practice is completely unprofessional and trader-unfriendly. If the trades were made within the rules, just pay out — don't cross-examine. Firms like this break the trust of genuine traders. Beware before joining — this feels like nothing but a tactic to hold back money.

I purchased a challenge with this company under a clearly stated 10% overall drawdown. I paid real money for that specific rule, put in the work, and passed the account.

Then, a week later, with zero notice, zero email, zero announcement, they quietly slashed the overall drawdown down to 8% — on my existing, already-funded account.

Let that sink in: I didn’t sign up for an 8% DD account. I paid for 10%. If a company wants to change their rules going forward, fine — apply it to new purchases. But silently changing the terms on accounts that are already paid for and already passed is not a “policy update,” it’s a bait-and-switch.

This is exactly the kind of move that makes traders lose trust in prop firms as an industry. You pay for a specific set of rules, you meet those rules, and then the goalposts get moved after the fact with no transparency. That’s not risk management on their end — that’s just changing the deal after they’ve already collected your money.

Avoid this company unless you’re comfortable with the terms you paid for potentially being changed retroactively without warning.

One of the worst funded account which asking to people to get good rating and we will provide funded account. What rubbish is this if you are genuine they wait for your customer for giving review. Why you are asking review this is not good . I will never support to orion company.

I used their 1k account their 20% consistency is very helpful for new traders.

Guys honestly this firm is absolutely crazyy to trade with.. The payout and withdrawal system is crazyy and very favourable to trade.. Honestly i have taken payouts with the firm and i received that within 6-5 hrs.. So I do and definitely recommend this firm..

I’ve had a great experience with Orion Funded so far. I successfully passed the evaluation, got funded, and have already received my first payout. I’m currently waiting for my second payout, and up to this point I haven’t had any issues.

The rules were clear from the beginning, and everything has worked as expected. Based on my experience so far, I’m very satisfied with Orion Funded and would recommend them.

I recommended orion to one of my friend, he purchased the account with 10% overall DD and 8% profit target. When he passed phase 2 they changed the overall DD without any notice or warning to 8% max.

I was also purchasing and on the check out i saw they have changed the overall DD which is pretty awkward. without any notice or update doing it silently isn't good.

Overall i was impressed and was planning to invest in longer run but because of that act I'm out because transparency is everything.

I am sharing my personal experience with Orion Funded so that other traders can evaluate the facts for themselves.

I successfully completed my evaluation and later requested a payout of $2,664.

Instead of processing the payout, Orion Funded required me to participate in a video interview with their Risk Department. During the interview, I explained my trading approach, answered all questions, and confirmed that my trading was performed manually.

Following the interview, I received a formal decision stating that my account allegedly showed:

* "Mechanical strategy execution"
* "Systematic optimization"
* "Non-authentic execution patterns"

However, despite multiple requests, Orion Funded never identified a specific rule that I had violated.

I repeatedly requested:

* The exact rule or contractual provision allegedly breached.
* The specific trades that supposedly violated their rules.
* The evidence supporting their conclusions.

The company declined to provide this information, explaining that its detection systems, monitoring methodologies, and assessment protocols are proprietary and cannot be disclosed.

Despite concluding that my trading activity was unacceptable, Orion Funded subsequently offered a settlement equal to 30% of my payout request in exchange for closing the matter and signing a release agreement.

After I rejected the proposal and requested full payment, the offer was increased to 40%.

I again requested clarification and supporting evidence regarding the alleged violation. No additional information was provided.

Ultimately, Orion Funded maintained its decision, refused to pay the full payout, refused to provide supporting evidence, and confirmed that the 40% settlement offer was its final position.

The documented facts of my case are:

* Requested payout: $2,664.
* Mandatory interview with the Risk Department.
* Allegations of "mechanical" and "non-authentic" trading.
* No specific rule violation identified.
* No trade-by-trade evidence provided.
* Settlement offer increased from 30% to 40% of the payout.
* Full payout denied.

I retain the complete email correspondence and documentation relating to this case and can provide it if verification is required.

Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Orion Funded to other traders. The combination of a denied payout, the absence of a clearly identified rule violation, and the refusal to provide supporting evidence has significantly undermined my confidence in the fairness and transparency of the process.
