Everything was great
Everything was great, the car was delivered on time, everything was very well explained in terms of the rental. My only issue was with Android auto which didnt want to work with my phone and the car I was renting

Tried booking a car with them for my vacation
I tried booking a car with them for my vacation to visit my family. They saw I was hesitant and told me they would offer me a discount. After agreeing on the price and sending them my documents, they asked me if I have an international driving license. I said no because I do not require one to drive in the UAE (I have a valid EU license). They then told me that the RTA requires me to have an IDL and that they could get me one for 200aed extra. I told them this is not true as I am up to date with RTA laws and drive with my EU license every time I visit the country.
I do not recommend booking with them. It is a waste of time and they are constantly adding hidden fees to get you to pay extra for everything.

We would like to clarify the legal requirements to avoid any misunderstanding.
According to the official guidelines of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and UAE traffic regulations, visitors may drive in the UAE without an International Driving Permit (IDP) only if they hold a passport and driving license from the same approved country.
In this case:
A Greek driving license is valid in the UAE when presented with a Greek passport.
If the passport is American (in your case), the license must correspond to the same country of passport issuance, or an International Driving Permit (IDP) is required.
This requirement is not set by our company, but by UAE authorities and insurance compliance rules. Rental companies must strictly follow these regulations to ensure the vehicle is legally covered.

We do not add hidden fees. Any additional requirement, such as an IDP, is communicated to ensure full legal compliance and insurance validity, in this case the 200 AED does not have to be paid to us — you can obtain the IDP yourself, and it will cost you the same 200 AED.
