FORCE YOU TO UPLOAD PERSONAL ID TO A COMPANY THAT WAS SUED FOR SELLING DATA

I have been using the Pogo app since 2023 and cashed out 9 times without any problems. However, the last time I attempted to cash out I was suddenly told that I would have to upload a photo of my ID to verify my identity with a company called Plaid. I looked into Plaid and discovered that “In 2021, Plaid settled a $58 million class action lawsuit over claims that it passed on personal banking data to third-party firms without user consent.” Yet Pogo expected me to risk providing this untrustworthy company with my sensitive personal data, just to get a $6 amazon gift card?! I know for a fact that amazon only requires an email address to send a gift card, so why did Pogo suddenly change their rules? Are they trying to put users off cashing out so they can keep the money for themselves? I had to file a claim with the better business bureau to get the money I was owed, and I recommend that other users do the same.

Ridiculous tasks for low payout

After being unable to complete the ridiculous tasks in such a short amount of time. For Example reach lever 2000 in 30 days. After being unable to complete tasks like that, other game rewards have dropped from offering around $20 for full completion to less than $1. Some tasks only offer up to $0.80 for full completion of tasks.

Easy to use

Easy to use, a good way to make a little extra money. I try not to use mine and save it until December to use for Christmas.

Poor support and payment system

My Pogo experience has been frustrating. My first redemption was repeatedly canceled before being processed after a long wait and support contact. Despite being promised a 3-business-day turnaround for my next withdrawal, I have now been waiting over 13 days with no payment. Support has been unhelpful, providing no clear timeline or solution. The app has poor payment reliability and support, and I do not recommend it.

Stay far away

Similar to many others, my experience with pogo and cashing out has been awful. My first cashout for around $5 took multiple emails between support in order for them to manually push the cashout through as every attempt would pend for a couple hours before disappearing. I thought the issue was fixed so so I attempted to cashout a 2nd time a few days later but again the same issue persisted. Support has been less than helpful as I've spoken to numerous customer support and every single one replied with the same response stating my "Cash out is still being reviewed". This of course does not make sense as at the time of them saying that, I did not have a cash out pending because the cash out request would always pends for a few hours before disappearing and my points being refunded. I did not receive any email or message from pogo regarding my disappearing cash out requests despite being told I would be updated with new information soon.

Terrible support. 24 hours per response. Cant cash out.

Well 13 days later after asking why I received an error trying to cash out, I still haven't been able too. Too top it off, my points randomly expired when I the payment had been processing for 4 almost 5 days. Now I am an understanding person but when I get the same basic response every email which LITERALLY takes 24 hours to receive, it makes you wonder. So every game I did with them I now cannot do again since all of these earn apps require it to be a first time play. So its greatly appreciated to be treated this way and not simply fix the issue the first time I contacted support. Simply awful and technically they owe me $61 now.

Rapelag (I suspect this is an intentional bug where you can not get points from your location)

Location based rewards failure to award, I have kept count of how many times I come across a location based reward that usually goes to your account. It makes you view an ad then you close it and earn 70 points each time. The first two times my app has crashed when I was be present with a notification that you click to get the ad. When this happened I emailed support and they assisted me and gave me a survey. The third time and after, they stopped helping me and I had to just continue without any help. They say that when this happens you get help always but I believe that’s a lie because I emailed them over and over about my points and they just didn’t even respond or answer. I believe that this is a bug that is put in place to stop you from earning more (forcing you to get receipts or spend money on more purchases so they don’t lose money). That is why they have this one star review and it probably won’t matter to them but this always happens every time now, my app would work fine until I get a noti. then it would crash and you have no way of getting the ad as the app would freeze and the only thing you can do is close it and miss the location based offer. I don’t know if this is congruent to my iPhone apps crashing or if it is a method Pogo is doing but so far it is Pogo as much as I’d hate to believe it.
