Dangerous Negligence: Glass Shards Left Inside Ruined My iPhone 14 Pro Max
I am writing this to warn other customers about the extremely unprofessional and dangerous service at iHero in Sct Mathias Centret, Viborg.
I had the back glass of my iPhone 14 Pro Max replaced here. Recently, I took the phone to another technician for a battery and microphone replacement. When he opened the phone, he was shocked: the interior was filled with glass shards left by iHero from the previous repair.
These shards caused catastrophic damage:
They punctured the battery (creating a fire hazard!).
They damaged the MagSafe magnet.
Upon opening, the shards stuck in the adhesive pierced the OLED display from the inside, completely destroying the screen.
I have microscopic photos and video evidence of the mess left inside by iHero. This is not just a poor repair; it is a safety violation. My phone is now unusable because of their negligence. Avoid this place if you value your device and safety.
UPDATE in response to iHero's reply:
Andreas, I could not return to your store because I had already left Denmark shortly after the repair. When the microphone failed, I had no choice but to visit a local technician in my current country.
My technician filmed the entire opening process. The video clearly shows that the interior of my iPhone 14 Pro Max was filled with glass shards left by your "strict procedures." These shards punctured the battery (a severe fire hazard) and were embedded in the adhesive, which caused the OLED screen to be destroyed upon opening.
I am sending this video and microscopic photo evidence to your customer service email now. I expect you to take responsibility for this dangerous negligence, regardless of the "2-year warranty" excuse, as your work created a safety risk and destroyed my device.

If there was any kind of issue with the repair we made, then you should just have stopped by one of our stores.
We always offer 2 years full waranty on the repairs we do.
However i have a hard time believing that there should be glass left inside the phone, since we have a strict procedure about this.

Safer delivery
I've now waited almost 4 weeks for the delivery, with no changes in delivery status since day one. When I reach out to ihero they give me different info every time. Everything so far makes it seem like a scam. I came onto Trustpilot to see reviews, and here it looks good at least. They seem to be honest, just DAO who lost the package and noone can do anything about it. Seems like a Christmas without gifts this year

This product is a joke it doesn't work and yet you're just selling it to make money.
It's a shit product because I can't connect to the internet with it and on top of that, not only I lose 500dkk, but I didn't even have the paperwork to return the product, so I don't recommend it. I recommend buying a new smart TV instead of that shit.

Ultra HD 4K Dashcam - GPS, WIFI, med indbygget 2.45'' IPS skærm
I bought the ihero 4K dashcam. It seems to not be able to charge other than 5V dc in which I do not have. The ap connects to the camera via WiFi so you cannot have car play on the same phone at the same time. The ap is Chinese (but the language is danish) and delivers adverts before showing the camera. Also you cannot charge the camera directly l, you have to use the camera mount. So you are stuck keeping that mount. Total rubbish if you have a modern car.
