SCAM. IT WAS TAKING 5$ INSTEAD OF 1$

The pricing structure is anything but clear. I paid for a full hosting package with my chosen domain, headline price seems to be excellent value, hence the reason I chose Ionos, rather than Hostinger where my other websites are hosted.
However with a hosting package you need to be able to build a website or an app. This is NOT FREE, so your hosting package deal that you think is great value isn't, it's pretty much inline with other hosting companies.
Ionos you need to be up front with your fees!

SCAM! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLATFORM!

I have been a loyal IONOS customer for over 20 years. The reasons are easy. My hosting is never down literally close to 100% up time. The prices are so reasonable. And the customer service is second to none. I am NEVER leaving IONOS. I rave about this company every chance I get. They never disappoint me. I guess you can tell how happy I am.

I had an issue logging into my website builder. I called Ionos and was transferred to the technical support department. The lady listened to my explanation of my issue and was able to figured it out quickly. She was a big help and was very helpful and respectful. I never had a good experience with customer support services but this lady was awesome even if the problem was small and easy to fix. I hope to receive similar help in the future!! 👏🏻👏🏻

I was assured , that I won’t be charged for hosting, because I don’t host my website, Ionos tried to charge my account today. I am very disappointed either way poor service

They not only listen attentively but really dig into the issue and always come up with a really good solution... The security is also very good.

I have been an IONOS customer for hosting, domains and email, even when they where 1and 1, but my experience with their Website Design Service has been extremely frustrating.

My website design project began in November 2025. I provided detailed copy, photographs and instructions for the website, yet months later much of that material still had not been implemented as requested.

One of the biggest problems has been the lack of continuity and accountability, and language barrier. Rather than having one designer or project manager responsible for the project, I dealt with different people and different departments. At various points I found myself explaining the same situation again rather than seeing the work completed.

The website was eventually published, but a visitor to our site discovered that it was not displaying properly. I brought the problem to IONOS's attention. More importantly, even after the site became functional, the content and changes I had provided months earlier remained incomplete.

I eventually requested that the matter be escalated and asked for a refund or other resolution. One IONOS department denied the refund, while another department told me the matter was being escalated to management for a full review. I was then specifically told I would receive a written response within 48 hours. IONOS subsequently acknowledged in writing that it missed that deadline, and I continued waiting for a final resolution.

My biggest disappointment is not any single technical problem. It is the difficulty of getting one person within IONOS to take ownership of the project from beginning to end.

I chose a managed website design service because I expected the provider to manage the process. Instead, I spent considerable time coordinating between departments, following up on work already submitted, and trying to obtain a clear resolution.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the IONOS Website Design Service to a business owner who expects a dedicated point of responsibility, timely implementation and straightforward accountability when something goes wrong. My business has already transitioned.
