SCAM - Took 314€ from my card when they weren't supposed to
I subscribed to the trial period at their shop (I thought the company would be trustworthy, since they had a physical shop in a mall) and they charged my card before the trial period was over, so before I could decide if I wanted to keep any of the subscriptions and services they offer. After weeks of dealing with their salespeople in the shop and their customer service on the phone (and after providing all the documents they were asking for) I received refund confirmation emails on August 11th.
Haven't seen the money and it's been 3 months.
Shameful.

DANGER !
DANGER !
This is the story of an experience with Hubside in north of France.
My wife and myself we have account with hubside and normally they should take 2*49.99 euros per month.
They take as many time as many times and whenever they want.
When we noticed that it was already around 4 000 euros. We communicated this via the shop and shop to Hubside. They pretend that they want to reimburse.
They got in touch and check every detail one by one and promised to reimbourse within 35 days (may 20, 2023).
again during this time there has been around 2300 euros more take away from our accounts.
We got in touch again. They all of a sudden say that there is nothing around this number, it is something around 1700 euros to be reimboursed.
When we said no, they asked us to provide them with evidences and they said that they are going o send an email with a link to upload the document and once done call them back.
No email was sent and the number provided does not work either.
The director of shop does not even give any phone number of anything similar from a client support or anything else of hubside. The way they behave is like there is secret organization that is represented by the shops and shops sign contract, the upper level will suck the bank accounts. The shops are not even allowed to give a support phone number or any sort information.
The employees themselves tell us that we should not be illusions, there will never be a reimbursement and we should take a lawyer.
So I guess, we will have to go through a legal process.

Expensive "free trial" that can't be canceled.
Horrible company, they trick you by telling you to sign into services that seem nice at the beginning, but are much more expensive, you need to read the fine print to see that after the first month they will charge 100$ for 4 different services, and it cannot be canceled for at least 6 months. 100*4*6 = 2400 EUROS]
When you try to cancel they hardly pick up, and even after canceling they still charge you. What's the trick? Tell your bank to cancel their suscriptions. The day the customer protection laws change this company will crumble.
Edit 1: I see they've replied, but without actually acknowledging what I was saying. Also, to the people reading these reviews, notice how all the negative reviews are long and detailed experiences, but the positive reviews don't give any details or are sometimes nonsense? Clearly, those are fake reviews.
Look up why this company was fined in France.

Don't let them anywhere near your account details
I I purchased a laptop from FNAC in Barcelona and the attendant insisted I take a one-month Hubside and Celside trial (different branches of the same company), which I could cancel at any time within the first month. More to shut him up than through any desire to use either service (I’m still not sure what they even offer) I relented and signed up, safe in the knowledge that I could cancel it a few days later.
A few days before the end of the first month, I tried to contact both Hubside and Celside to cancel via phone, but over the course of 3 days of trying no one ever answered. I saw that the only other way to cancel was to send a letter by post (which year are we living in here?) to Paris. There wasn’t time for it to arrive before the end of the free monthly trial, so I wrote a strongly worded letter to FNAC and, fortunately, they apologised cancelled the Celside contract. However, they couldn’t do anything about Hubside.
I continued calling and a few days after the expiration of the free trial someone finally picked up, by which time they had already removed more than one payment from my account. I explained the situation and said that I never consented to this. The girl who attended me was very understanding but said that since the free trial had expired she couldn’t cancel the contract. I would have to see out the year. What she could do, however, was put me on a lower tariff (5.99 per month, rather than 10.99) and guaranteed me that upon the expiration of this 12 month contract (in March 2022) I would be free from this – let’s be honest – scam and that she could put a note on my account to guarantee that there would be no automatic renewal or anything of the sort upon expiration.
I received confirmation of the new contact via email and then left it there.
At the end of last year 2022 I discovered that not only did they continue charging me beyond the expiration of this 12 month contract (which, as I mentioned, should have ended in March 2022), but that since December 2022 they have tried take to out 49.99 euros via direct debit from my account on no less than 4 occasions! 2 of these transactions occurred in consecutive days before I realised what was going on.
I blocked the transactions and wrote to the customer service team explaining the situation and demanding they cease this activity some weeks ago. I also requested they reimburse me for the money that had taken since March 2022. I am yet to receive a response but today I saw that they have tried to snatch a further 49.99 euros from my account.
At what point does a lie become a scam, and at what point does a scam just become outright theft?
This is a despicable company and no amount of purchased positive reviews should convince you otherwise. FNAC have already ceased working with them due to the high volume of customer complaints, a number of news articles have emerged regarding their nefarious practices and they have been fined in France for the same reason.
Keep well away.

Very deceiving company
Very deceiving company. NEVER deal with them, especially if you are from other country, they will use all the weaknesses that you have (especially if you're not French language speaker).
I would give ZERO stars, but there is no such option.

avoid their loyalty club
Back when it was switch we got into the loyalty program. You can't use that loyalty program on their website, you have to come to their store and at their store they have even less than they have on their website with no option to get the thing we wanted. Avoid at all cost.

Run away
Thief company who partnered up with a phone company in France so that they could bend over people together.
I'm buying a phone and the seller comes to me and says here subscribe here and you get a free powerbank. All you have to do is cancel within a month.
I tried. Phone never picks up.
Now they even upgraded my subscription from 25 to 50 euros. Best part is that for some reason they take money twice.
From may to date they took 300 euros from a student who's income is 650.
Great branding. Great way to make profits. Smart move truly.
I know from experience that your customer service is underfunded and desperately lacking personnel. I guess the same goes for PR.

Subscription problem- lack of infos
I called you because when I went to the store (switch) and they proposed me to subscribe to a subscription. The salesman told me that it was going to be free but when I opened my bank account today I realize that they charge me two times €24,99. The first time it was for cyrana and the other time was for hubside. I was not happy because I called to cancel my subscription at Cyrana And they told me that it was canceled but I still saw that it was not because they charge me 24,99 €. So I called you because I didn’t know that my subscription was also a subscription to hubside. At first I was very Angry but your colleague on the phone Was very nice and polite and helped me for sure. Thank you to Symon 😊.
