My previous review was removed, not sure why?

Flower Camping L'Air du Lac was advertised as having the best swimming water in the region and having a beautiful beach with a water slide. My kids were extremely excited and were happy to go there.

When we got there, the camping was deserted. After pitching our tent, we went to the lake. Big signs saying the lake was too polluted to swim, and the water slide was a rusting pile of metal.

Left the next day. Request for restitution was denied by the mayor, who is the manager of the camping. She claimed that the lake is a visual feature only, and our request for restitution is denied. Flower Campings is not answering any calls for help, they say this is not a flower camping, despite the signs saying Flower CAmping l'Air du Lac.

The campsite was soiled and deserted. The staff was despondent and demoralized. It is a dump, don't go there.

We booked a stay near Vannes with a prive bathroom.
The spot was uneven.
the bathroom and kitchen were dirty. We did not use it.
We pay a lot of money for a extra bathroom and you end up with a shet, the doors didn't open and close.

We stayed at the Brantome site, lovely site, well maintained, good facilities and access to the river. Good access to town too, with a walking/bike path directly there. But the site did not meet the description of ‘zen’ and ‘respect for peace and quiet’. On the day of our arrival there was a pool party, with loud music and someone shouting into a microphone for an hour. There was a daily ‘summer song’, again loud music and shouting. We were told this would only be 5 minutes but the entertainer would arrive at the pool early and start playing music and would leave it playing after. He also came to the pool in the early afternoon each day and started playing music. We could hear all of this from our pitch and it really spoilt the peace, which is what we were looking for. I complained about this twice and was told no music should be played at the pool, except for scheduled sessions, but this was not the case and despite promises to stop it, it still carried on every day. We left early in the end for a more peaceful location.

I would have liked some more information about a holiday. I emailed the campsite directly, I completed an online form, I emailed flower camping main email twice and tried messaging on Facebook messenger. No one had the courtesy to reply in a month

The 1st pitch we were offered in Vitamin Dieppe, was scruffy and felt a little intimidating. We we were assured the next would be quiet and undisturbed. This was not the case, from early evening there were constant loud gatherings of people and music playing until 11.30 pm. Cars and vans driving past, doors slamming, people shouting. We got very little sleep. Having booked for 2 nights we asked for a refund for the second night as we did not wish to stay longer, this was refused because we had not taken out their insurance. The site was very over crowded, not very clean and at 30 euro for a small tent pitch, the most expensive in our 3 weeks of camping in France.

We went on a holiday in Saumur with Flower Camping and we were rather disappointed. The location is great but that is about it. The mobile home was old and beds very uncomfortable. The swimming pool was closed 2 days during a same week with no explanation in the middle of heat wave, no explanation given, no apologies, nothing. Poor communication from the staff.

Lake was closed due to deadly bacteria. Not informed ahead of arrival or on arrival. One small sign up. Appalling health and safety. Very worn down camp overall. Avoid at all costs.

Not all flower camping sites are same standard. Stayed at an excellent site in Vauvert but their site in Rieux de Pellefort was very poor and we left after 1 night.

Easy site to use , good information, we had a question and emailed the site and got a quick and accurate response in English . Sites look great and Tripadvisor reviews seem genuine.

Easy to use website. We have visited this campsite many times and the webpage allowed us to choose our preferred placement and our holiday has already been confirmed.

Having had a great experience in 2023 decided to return for another week this year. Delighted to have booked and got an early bird discount - happy days

All very efficient- only issue was that I had about 5 emails following on from this- but it all seems to have worked well
