I actually am so glad Patrick reached out to me. I’d described Designwide as what a licensing agency should be. Designwide handles the intros to retailers and licensing parts and I receive my royalty. It has been really quick to get setup and I love the visibility into what is selling well. It is also good to see that the platform is constantly being updated and some of my own suggestions have been added as well.

Excellent for me. Has allowed me to grow without going to trade shows or managing everything. I really enjoy the fact that my designs are out there being sold on gifts. It means a lot to me as an artist.

Would recommend. Like that I can just upload my entire design catalog and it turns it into royalties on actual products. Also a fan of control over where my designs are licensed and in what countries. Used to be represented by an agency and didn’t do much for me, so have represented myself for a year but the thing is big retailers don’t like working with individuals/small businesses in my experience so it is great to have opportunity to work with them on here. Also LOVE how it removes all the tedious parts of licensing. This is how it should be for creatives, makes it SO EASY to license with big retail so I don’t have to worry about calls. Love Love Love.

Only joined Designwide recently but I’ve already started earning royalties. Platform is really easy to use and simply to upload. I also like how I can create personalised designs in the editor which sell well and was a nightmare doing myself when I used to make products in my own studio. Honestly so happy to be able to see my designs being sold on Tesco and like how platform provides useful feedback on what is selling well, new trends etc and allow you to transfer bestsellers to other products quickly. I run my illustration business by myself so I appreciate a company taking the time to design tools which help me grow in a fair way and tools that speed up my workflow. I love that Designwide is essentially free for creators and they handle production + retailer sales so it is refreshing that it is their interest for your designs to actually sell otherwise they don’t make money. It’s hard to describe but it feels like I have my own sales, production and customer service team so I can focus on designing which is the bit I love the most without worrying about contract signing, logistics etc which is the boring part of selling physical product in my opinion.
