Did not receive the advertised deep tissue massage or scrub, it was more like just applying the lotion and leaving for periods of time, NO deep tissue massage was done! The masseur wasted 2 hrs worth of my massage time, took long multiple 10-15 minutes breaks. They asked for 25 mins of scrub time which just included apply the scrub lotion and no scrubbing! Really disappointed, Would not recommend. Absolute waste of time and money. I booked this for my dad he was not happy.

Hello Afifa, I appreciate you sharing your review about your father's session, and I am sorry you feel that way.
I'd like to remind you that your father's appointment was booked for a certain time, and your father showed up 57 minutes late. However, we worked 30 minutes past his original session end time to accommodate him being late.
I apologize if the scrub did not meet his standards. Our scrub is a mechanical scrub so it does not require the scrub motion as the apricot shells do the exfoliating for you.
We allow 30 minutes for the scrub to be done. This time includes the time to do the scrub, wipe off the scrub then time for the client to shower. All this is stated on the website but given your last minute booking for that day, it’s possible you may have overlooked it. Also. The 15 -20 minutes your practitioner left was time for your father to shower to prepare for the massage.
As for the massage, we always ask throughout the massage if the pressure is okay, especially if someone is requesting deep tissue.
Again, I apologize that your father did not enjoy his experience.
Very friendly and professional. I had just arrived in Ottawa after a transatlantic flight. The facilities are first class and their services are too.

One of the Best Massages I’ve Ever Had
First time at Groomed Gentleman, and it was a great experience. My 90-minute massage with John was one of the best massages I’ve ever had.

John was welcoming
John was welcoming, friendly and made me feel comfortable for my first time there.
The atmosphere was so peaceful and the temperature was perfect, as well as having access to a shower was generous.
The scrub was enjoyable. The massage was relaxing and soothing as a Swedish massage is. I will definitely go back but for a deep tissue next time.
