Seems to be getting worse. Delayed around half the time
Honestly they need to hire people who aren't visually bored or annoyed of the job, it’s about community so, no one “drivers” should just stare at a passenger getting in the bus like some souless spirit. We ride your bus to get to where we need to be, we say hello we expect that back…
Just saying, do better.
GO Transit has to be one of the absolute worst public transit systems in the free world. Having traveled extensively across the globe, I have never experienced a service this consistently terrible.
The list of issues is endless:
Constant Delays: You can never rely on their schedules; train and bus delays are a daily reality.
Overcharging & Deceitful Refunds: The fares are incredibly high for the subpar service provided, and their "service guarantee" or refund promises are completely deceitful and nearly impossible to actually claim.
Misplaced Priorities: It is a total shame that they pour millions into fare enforcement and penalizing riders, yet they can't seem to invest that money into providing adequate, reliable transportation.
It is an embarrassing system that somehow continues to get worse by the day. Avoid it if you have any other alternative.
