First year book suddenly deleted before it was finished
I was making a first year book of my daughter, and suddenly the whole book was deleted in May because i hadnt order anything for couple of months. After calling de service centre in the netherlands they couldnt do nothing anymore to restore the book. Which I am deeply sad about as there were stories written which my daughter did the first year which I cant remember all of it to recreate the book. Never again I will use this site. According to the employee I should have received e-mails which I didnt only last november for deleting 15 old Photos which were not part of the book.

The photo book - great experience!
I previously ordered a poster from albelli, and the quality was excellent, as was delivered fast.
This time, I printed a photo book. The quality is absolutely amazing. It far exceeded my expectations. I followed all the instructions, remembered to add a spine text, chose pages that open completely, and selected premium quality. I also added more pages than the standard package included. The price was quite high, but it's worth it! This book looks like a genuine, first-class, very high-quality, and beautiful gift. From the moment I placed the order to receiving the finished book, it took exactly three business days. I placed the order on the afternoon of June 25th. I received the finished book on July 1st.
I am very pleased. I would gladly recommend Albelli to my friends.

Deletes your project
Please be careful with Albelli if you're an existing customer. Albelli deletes ongoing projects if you have an 18-month gap between orders. I started working on a photo book for my daughter after a good experience with Albelli for a holiday photo book. When I recently went back to continue working on it, the project I had put a lot of time into had been deleted. I hadn't been working on it for 18 months, but because I hadn't placed an order in that time, they wiped everything from my account. Even after calling customer service, there was no option to restore it. I spent days on that project.
So don't start any large projects here, and be aware that as an existing customer, you can be seriously disadvantaged!

AVOID if you are a business.
AVOID if you are a business.
Im based in belgium, and they charged me NL VAT and now refuse to re-issue the refund of the VAT although wrongfully charged as they billed from a netherlands company.
The customer care team keeps being answered by all different people who clearly have 0 clue on how to handle the taxation and after multiple demands for escalation they keep answering like a bunch of robots.

Quality got worse over the years
I’ve been using Albelli photobooks for many years and the print quality dropped significantly. Pictures have a lot noise and colors become distorted. I’m quite disappointed with my last print. I’m ready to move to a different provider.
