Aesthetic Noir Reviews 

I've been a AN customer for many years and I get why this shop may look "off" to US purchasers in a fast-fashion world. They don't get a lot of press. The sizing IS small and the clothing is unusual, so you need to pay attention to measurements and how you want something to fit. The shipping takes a very long time (typically a month or more) and comes from overseas. The website doesn't update often... but that's the key, this isn't fast fashion. That said, all my AN pieces are so nicely tailored. Their cotton garments feel made to last forever. The poly pieces are unique enough on the US market to justify the price, and they typically have discounts once their pieces have been on the site for awhile.

I've only had to reach out to Customer Service once, and that was when I'd placed a really large order and figured one piece had been holding it up because of the way they ship. They answered within a day or so and refunded the piece they'd been waiting on (this was still just within the 15-45 day waiting period) and got my shipment moving.

Just want to thank AN for what they're doing. If I could offer any feedback, please put textile information on your site per garment, rather than a blanket "care" area on each listing. The poly pieces are nice, but the cotton/linen pieces are your best ones, especially in sheer black.

SCAM COMPANY! i returned $113 worth if items weeks ago and still havent received a refund. reached out to them twice now, no response. do not do business with them. i am getting ready to make a complaint to my bank and dispute the charge.

They do not respond to inquiries. I've tried contacting in every possible way and get no response at all. What's the point of even having the option at the bottom of every product page? I really wanted to order some things from here without having to make a possible return, but I can see even those requests get ignored.

I ordered 3 shirts. They sent 1 shirt in the wrong size. I contacted them to return it and 1 other shirt. The request was approved and I was given an address and instructions for return which I followed. The box I sent them was returned to me with a note that said it was never picked up. I have emailed them and contacted them through the website and no one has replied to rectify this. The clothes are nice but the company is awful.Beware.

After writing this review Aesthetic Noir refunded my money but did not have any further communication. The whole experience was strange but I'll change the original review of 1 to a 3 since I got a refund.

I placed an order (#2989) on 21 November 2023. I sent them an e-mail the next day (22 November 2023) asking for a cancellation of the order and a refund. I haven't received a reply. Plus, the "discounted" prices are actually the same as those on yesstyle under the brand Simple Black. The "discount" means that you can't return the items. Of course I am far from having them received. Still waiting for a confirmation of my cancellation message.

Edit: I am changing this slightly after receiving the answer by aesthetic noir. In their answer they say they source items from different retailers, including asian ones. I personally think their website doesn't make that clear, i was under the assumption that they were actually designing their own stuff and just working with production conpanys. But okay, i probably misunderstood, they actually identify themselves as resellers. Still find their pricing and "discounts" extremely weird. Still find it weird, that other sellers like yesstyle and also pages like marigold shadows (also weird in my opinion) sell the exact same things. I will up this review to 2 stars but keep it. I think this is still important to see for people to form their own opinion. I personally still feel cheated, but maybe thats because i have high standards and have another definition of a small buisness. I do find their website really pleasant to look at and i do find the selection of clothes very nice. I think i would have liked it more if they actually disclosed the chinese brands they work with. Would have helped me not assuming it's "original aesthetic noir". Also i think in terms of being "ethical" and "sustainable" it would help if they actually disclosed their collaborators. If not it's just empty words.

I havent yet received my items, so this is temporarily.
As another review suggests, this is completely from china. You can find most of the clothes at cheaper prices on yesstyle under the brand SIMPLE BLACK. (cheaper than the "discounted" prices on aesthetic noir lol)

Aesthetic noir is basically reselling a chinese brand, and the whole "About Us" section is a lie.
If you want the items you can get them from yesstyle for cheaper. Shipping is crazy long on both sites, so it doesnt even matter haha. Also yesstyle at least doesnt try to make it "their" design. Its still from china (most stuff these days is) but they are at least open about being just a portal for selling stuff.

- only chinese models > its originally from a chinese brand
- sizing smaller than usual > its a chinese brand
- crazy dicounts on every item > its not close to the actual chinese prices, and the "discount" makes it, so that you cant return the items (how convenient)
- partial shipping from china > its a chinese brand

Anyways, i am disappointed in myself, for only realizing this after i already ordered. I'm not loosing a super big amount of money, but i'm still sad. I was really excited for this. At least the quality seems to be good in the other reviews, so i will hopefully still like the items.
These resellers are really a pest, at this point i should probably learn to sew and make the stuff myself.

If it turns out, that my assumptions are wrong/theres a reasonable explanation, i will of course change this review.

You may have to wait almost 1-2 months to receive the clothes. But I have to admit, it was really worth the wait. The quality of the clothes is very good! I rarely buy trousers or skirts online because it's hard to match me, but when I saw the store's style, I couldn't control myself but place an order. It turns out to be really nice, every piece fits perfectly. Very true to size, I really enjoyed shopping in this store!

Not only are the clothes I ordered beautiful, well made and well fitting but the service I experienced was just brilliant.
Due to a fault that lay with my local delivery service my original order was returned. Aesthetic Noir stayed in contact with me throughout the entire debacle, reassuring me they would re-send the order and kept me informed every step of the way.
I am so impressed and highly recommend this small business for those who want to support people creating something unique and beautiful while also offering a high standard, personal customer experience. Delighted to have discovered them.

Absolutely love the pieces I received! I was uncertain about sizing but they ended up fitting so well. Warm coat and comfy pants. Will shop again soon.

Well made and quality material. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the dress and jacket on December 30, 2021, and both arrived today January 28, 2022. The wait was worth it. The v-neck dress and the kimono style suit are deemed to be one-size and miraculous THEY ARE! I am a US size 14 and I cannot believe how flattering, comfortable and well made both pieces are. Well worth the money and wait! Thank you Aesthetic Noir for recognizing and celebrating women's bodies by producing beautiful clothes.

Communication is the key and Aesthetic Noir gets that. I fully understand that things shipping from across the world will take time but that time goes by faster if you know where in the world your parcels are. I was able to check in online and see where my items where and when they would get to me. Seamless! Not to mention that the clothes are also exactly what I was expecting. Made well out of quality fabrics and I love the style. So glad I found you!

Great product with unique style and comfortable materials. Could use less wrapping materials.

Aesthetic Noir’s clothing quality is excellent, and I absolutely love the items and already made another purchase. It did take a long time for my packages to arrive from HK to the US due COVID, but that was expected & I didn’t mind the delay.

I give them five stars for the clothing itself (exactly what it looked like on the site; very well made; good fabrics) but one star on the delivery. It took months. And there was no response when I wrote to inquire about it. Of course it came directly from China, which tells you that wherever Aestheticnoir is "located", they are remote from the production, packing and shipping. This is a model that does not support good customer service to resolve problems. And if something is wrong with any item, this model promises trouble for returns and refunds. Bottom line: loved the clothes but won't order again. I stay away from the direct from China system, unless I know the company very well (like, say, Asos) Otherwise it's a crap shoot.

Third time ordering. Lovely fabrics and delivered on time. Would recommend for those looking for cheaper dark, zara style clothing.

Bad quality clothing & when I asked for a refund, they never responded, even after multiple attempts to contact them.
