On arrival to work at 6.30 am we discovered that the entire ground floor had flooded though the ceiling and some walls from the upstairs toilet,

Luckily being in the building trade, we quickly had the right people on hand to stop the leak and start the clean up, as soon as the amb opened the peril was reported, we had answers with permission for works to be carried out.

Lesley advised on the process, Andrew (MD) came to our premises that morning and advised in person the best way forward with the process to both protect our expenditure and also to protect the building as we needed a rapid decision on removing the laminate flooring in order to protect the underlying chip board and woodworks of the raised floor.

amb liaised with both the loss adjuster and ourselves quickly and efficiently during the whole process form reporting this water leak to payment being received.

I hate to think of the outcome if this happened to a business without building knowledge and the support of the amb team as the disruption and initially unseen water damage could have been huge, adding months and tens to thousand to the claim.
