It's a scam. It can't be legal to use the information (email address) from the created cv against one!! my nephew made a CV, used my PayPal to pay. They created a subscription with his email and my pay method!! Had no idea they can do it! Couldn't cancel on the web page since there was no subscription with my email there and I had no idea they used his!! My nephew didn't get a subscription confirmation e-mail but I have been charged 19,99 after 15day trial!!! Eventually I managed to cancel via their customer support but no refund. What I did? Went to my bank and contacted PayPal- I got my money back today. Took only 48 hours. CONTACT YOUR BANK FOLKS and stay away from cvmaker.hr, cvmaker.nl, cvmaker. pl... It is a scam network

Urgent Complaint – CVMaker Still Debiting My Account After Unsubscription in July
Hello
I would like to lodge a complaint against CVMaker. I unsubscribed in July 2025, but they continue to debit my account despite numerous emails back and forth for over 2 months asking them to stop.
My experience has been totally awful with CVMaker. Since unsubscribing, they have continued to take money from my account and, to date, I have lost more than R1,200. Their terms and conditions are not clearly communicated when signing up — it was not clear to me that I was subscribing to a monthly service. I admit that I should have reviewed the terms more carefully, but what is not fair is that CVMaker keeps debiting R444 from my account every month. They appear to have an automated process in place that continues to charge me without my consent.
In addition to these debits:
On 08 July, 09 July, 29 July, 28 August, and 26 September 2025, CVMaker successfully debited amounts ranging from R34 to over R400 from my account.
Every time I don’t have sufficient funds, their debit attempts fail, but my bank still charges me R8.50 per failed transaction. This has happened multiple times on dates such as 14 July, 16 July, 17 July, 21 July, 24 July, 14 August, 18 August, 20 August, 23 August, 15 September, 17 September, and 22 September.
This means I am losing money in two ways:
Wrongful CVMaker debits despite unsubscribing.
Bank penalty fees caused by their repeated debit attempts.
I urgently need CVMaker to:
Stop debiting my account immediately.
Refund all wrongful debits and related bank charges.

Don’t use
Seems a lot of other people have experienced this issue they don’t make it clear about the trial ending and them starting to scam you by charging £20 a month had to get my card changed because my bank even thought this was fraud.. says a lot. Don’t use them otherwise you’ll fall down the same rabbit hole and end up having to pay an outstanding balance of £59.!

Do not pay using VISA cards after create your resume , this guys doing a scam, 2025/06/06 I was paid 2.59 SGD for a one cv , they deduct again 33.11 SGD on 2025/06/17. again they deduct without any CV making , do not pay using visa cards scam .

Hidden Monthly Payments!
Whilst useful for formatting a CV it doesn't allow for much in the way of personalising content. Then they slap you with a monthly subscription that isn't mentioned anywhere on their actual webpage but tucked away in their general terms that you agree to just by clicking "next". Deplorable business practice, that I've emailed them to end my subscription and also stopped all future payments on PayPal.
I'd recommend finding free templates you can use and avoid this site at all costs.
