Dislocated my jaw during surgery I am now permanently disabled.
There was no proper after surgery care.
I was gaslit about my jaw being dislocated, and made to feel crazy for daring to seek help. (This resulted in me almost dying due to an unrelated to dislocation tooth issue.)
Staff (assistants/nurses) worked harder to bully me, both verbally, and physically assaulted me during follow up visits. Than to help me at any point.
Sexually harassed me on multiple occasions.
if he has done it to me while awake, I can't imagine what he has done to those of us when we were unconscious.
Please keep in mind that our system is set up to protect doctors at all costs in Canada. There is nothing that they can do to you that they will ever be reprimanded for, and the only time you can seek any action against them is if they manage to get you in the ground, and your family knows who to call.
PLEASE keep this in mind when you choose to see a medical professional of any kind. I wish I had known this sooner but, live and learn.
