Very well organized from start to finish!
We did a one-week self-driving safari through Zimbabwe and had an amazing time. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, with a nice balance between independence and guidance, making the experience feel adventurous yet relaxed.
Comfortable lodges, an easy-to-follow route, and great insights from the guides along the way. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

Incredible! That’s the first word that comes to mind when thinking about this Safari. I would say that i am well versed when it comes to Safari but the tour the chikaya team put together for my group was unparalleled! The owners read every wish from your lips. 10/10 would recommend!

We traveled to Zambia last October with Chikaya Safaris and it was honestly one of the best trips we’ve ever done. We traveled with two jeeps and moved camps almost every day, which made the whole experience feel like a real adventure — super immersive, close to nature, and beautifully simple in the best way.

Everything was very down to earth, but still perfectly organized and comfortable. We had everything we needed, the campsites were amazing, and waking up surrounded by the African wilderness was something we’ll never forget.

What really made the trip stand out was how involved Moritz, the owner, was throughout the whole experience. The communication and organization felt very high-touch and personal — he was always close, shared detailed tips, and made sure everything ran smoothly, which made us feel looked after the entire time. Even when one of our cars had minor issues with the refrigerator at one point, it was handled quickly and smoothly without affecting the overall experience.

If you’re looking for an authentic safari that feels personal, adventurous, and truly special, I can’t recommend this enough!

We went to Namibia and Moritz did a great job organizing our trip! We spent three weeks with unforgettable experiences, from the oldest (dead) trees in the Namibi Dessert, to my first time safari in the Etoscha pan.
