The process was easy and efficient
The process was easy and efficient. Submit details online and get a quote subject to inspection. An agent contacts you and and helps with the process. Emma provided great service and was courteous.
Booking an appointment for an inspection was easy and Jonathan was also friendly and courteous at the inspection site. Made the experience very easy.
Definitely a lot painless then trying to haggle at a dealership for a fair trade in. Canada Drives offers a fair price. Not the highest nor a low ball offer.
Would consider selling to them again in the future!
Fraudulent
I originally wanted to see the inventory they had access to, had to fill out an application to still never see an inventory list. From there i had someone from 902 auto sales contact me with a truck that was pushed at me then had it taken away and offered another.
I actually bought the truck. I contacted 902 auto sales right away because stuff on the truck was not working and it needed an update and was advised to go to the dealer and after it took 6 weeks to get in, I had the stuff needed fixed as well as the ball joint they found. They also found some warranty work needed that was also fixed. Left with a bill over 2000 and an estimate for another 1200 to fix my heated steering wheel that doesn't work. The passenger heated seat also does not work!
2 years later 902 auto sales has yet to answer me back so I had to eat that extra cost.
I purchased a truck with heated seats, heated steering wheel, it was freshly mvi'd so everything should have been good. I paid for these not working options.
Now 2 years later they are reaching out saying I have applied for financing. Told them no and would report as fraud to be told sorry but did you have a budget in mind?
I have told them to remove any and all info about me from their systems!
Horrible first hand experience from working for these people
I can tell you from a first hand experience of working here that you would be dealing with a bunch of sketchy, pushy, shady individuals who don't give a shit about what they buy or sell. I delivered some wrecks to honest, hard working people that were trying to work on their credit. This company had two underground parking facilities in walking distance from the head office they would send us out to go drive inventory around the block to give the illusion that they were mechanically sound and in good condition and worth the money when they were junk. Sitting in the lunch room listening the the bullshit on the sales floor during phone calls made me sick. good luck if you try canada drives junk. Especially you Josh, piece of shit
I was sceptical of selling my car with…
I was sceptical of selling my car with Canada drives, but I ended up having a fantastic experience. I went around a few different local dealerships to sell my 2023 Kia Carnival EX and didn’t get the number I wanted and the number that I know the car was worth. I went through the online program with Canada drives. The number was pretty darn close to what I wanted so I continued with the process. I went into a local inspection centre in (Mazda Nanaimo), and got a little bit less than what the original number offered was, but I was happy with the final number. I do recommend Canada drives for anybody looking to sell their car and avoid dealing with Facebook marketplace or similar and just being able to get it done. Fair and easy process.
Very bad experience
The quote showed me on the site and offer made directly was totally different. The appraiser told me something is wrong with the app. I literally drove 160kms to sell my vehicle. Utterly disappointed. If i sold privately i would have got a better deal.
Flexible with lease
They were patient to work through my Toyota Financial Lease, and were able to make a deal.
Canada drive got me a pre approval and…
Canada drive got me a pre approval and sent my file to a dealership which never contacted me before doing a hard check. And now I can guarantee they will keep running my credit until they get me an approval. I don’t recommend them to anyone.
LIARS
I was told, at first, that they'd pay out my car loan and I could keep my car to sell privately, then they got me to sign an agreement for a new car. Told me it would be a week. I said I needed one sooner. I signed a second contract. They're taking my car as a trade. He told me my payments would be at the end of the month. I've been waiting almost a month, instead of a week, for the car. Payments have already started being debited from my account. STILL NO CAR AND NO COMPENSATION!!!

If you don’t like there opinions and…
If you don’t like there opinions and decide not to buy from them you will get constant texts from partner companies try to sell vehicles. Even 2 years later I still get text and calls . I recommend not using this company !!!!!!!!!
Consent and Hard Credit Checks
A sales rep (Scott) reached out to me by text, asking questions about my car. I was interested in selling it, so we had a conversation over a couple of days. Eventually, he made an offer that twice what I'm paying now, and didn't seem to understand what I was looking for. The day after, I saw four hard credit checks on my credit reports. I never provided consent for these checks, and this now delays my plans of trading in my car. DO NOT RECOMMEND, especially when they don't understand consent.

Had 4 dealerships all do a hard check on my credit without even contacting or talking to me.
Won’t let me pick zero
Won’t let me pick zero. Company set me up with a dealer in Ottawa? I live in Barrie and after purchasing my car have had nothing but problems. Loan company told me they sent money to Apex auto alliance( never deal with them if Canada drive matches you with them) on April 24th, I have had 3 payments withdrawn from my old car payment which I traded in to them. When I questioned them they showed a picture of a cheque dated may 9th they claimed they sent to my old bank loan and now it is may 26th and my bank still doesn’t have it. I have postponed my new payment because I can’t pay for 2 cars. Pure crap, should never take over a month to pay a loan with today’s technology. Best part is they asked me to lie to the bank about the car they were selling me because they told them it had way more upgrades than my car actually had, none
This company needs to close!!!
This company needs to close their doors!!! It's like dealing with people working down a East Hastings back alley!!! So sketchy, do NOT give them any personal information. Do your OWN research for a car and loan!!!! They can't be trusted.
Fire Samuel Longo
Samuel Longo was extremely rude over the phone, be careful dealing with this company, when I told him I was no longer interested because they took so long to get back to me, he got verbally abusive over the phone & hung up on me
Seller beware- super shady operation
Considered selling my vehicle to them so drove to the Richmond bc location. First off, the operation just looks super shady. What was supposed to take 15 minutes took over an hour. The purchase manager, Mohammed, was very slimy. Asked me what my other offer was from Clutch first. I didn’t share because I wanted to see what he would offer. The offer was almost 5k less than what I was originally quoted. When I told him what Clutch quoted he actually suggested there was a possibility we could get it to match. lol! So first you try to trick me into taking way less and then you have the nerve to suggest it could be way more? Mohammed was also rude, telling me that it wasn’t a big deal that I wasted over an hour of my time. He gave me the excuse that the offer went down so much because I entered the wrong trim level. When I got home I redid the quote with the right trim level and guess what?? The quote actually went up. This place is a complete scam. Don’t do business here. They will lure you in by offering a good quote and tell you to take all docs with you for a quick sale and then they think they can try to corner you into accepting the much lower offer.
Useless company
Useless company. Extremely slow to respond. They say they are busy and state they will call you back and provide you a time. Of course they do not call. You are wasting your time going with them. STLtay far away feom them.

I was possibly interested in selling my vehicle and they offered me the same amount as though my car was dead and ready to be towed to a junkyard. It was insulting.
Cant get a hold of these people...
They never call back!?, I don't get it. It got pretty frustrating having to follow up multiple times just to get basic updates. When you’re trying to sort something important, you don’t want to feel like you’re chasing the company for answers. Get better please!
